I paid for a night here at this hotel after a long day. the front desk told me I could bring my service dog for free. they charged me not once but twice after I left. the whole night I was there and next morning the woman at the front desk working 7/7/20 at 10am, was calling repeatedly and busted into my room twice once at 8am and another at 10am. she didnt knock she just walked in and told me checkout is at 11am, I already knew that, and it was hours before checkout time. she had no right coming in when I was naked in bed. calling me repeadetly the room phone and then my cell phone. she is mental or ***. I wanted to pay for another 2 weeks before this happened and she told me the entire hotel was booked for the next 2 weeks but the maids told me that was a lie. she is up to something, maybe giving free rooms away to family or herself. should not have been busting inmy room at 8am!

The information that the guest provided is false. The Baymont has a policy to call guests at 10am to find out if they are staying the night or checking out. If we do not get a response, we call again at 10:30 and then at check out time, 11am. If we do not hear from the guest, we assume they are gone. We also have a few rooms with an outside door as well as an inside door to the rooms. Most of the time the guest will leave without coming to the desk through the back door. At check out time, we go to the room, knock, if we do not hear anything we attempt to enter the room. If one side is chained, we try the back door. When we tried to enter the back door, it was also locked. Therefore, we called the guest on their cell since we were unable to get an answer on the room phone. We informed the guest it was time for check out, he asked if he could get the room for another night. At the time, the room had already been pre-requested by another guest. Therefore, he said okay and hung up. Then he came to the desk and asked about staying for another week. I explained the rates to him and he seemed fine. I was about to set up his reservation when he mentioned the pet. He said he was charged for his pet. I asked him if it was a service animal, he then told us that it was his emotional support animal. We then explained to him that, in accordance with the ADA, emotional support animals are not considered service animals, therefore, we are allowed to charge him for the pet during his stay. He then got very angry and asked why he was lied to the night before. I explained to him that the clerk he spoke with is still new and wasn't fully aware of the policies and regulations. He then started pacing around the lobby looking at his phone for other places to stay that don't have pet fees. He then said that he found another place and wanted to cancel the reservation he was making. About 15 mins later, he had all his belongings out of the room and sped out of our parking lot. We hope this explanation helps clarify the situation. Thank you
