I stayed at the Bellmont Inn in Reno NV in Sept. When we left, I left a suitcase behind and immediatly called the Inn with the information. Upon my getting my bag back, my belongings had been gone through and 2 Hot August night Jackets, that I had for over 15 yrs from my now deceased husband,who bought them for me, are now missing. I am heartbroken. I have called Corporate and they are of no help either,, did'nt even know the name of the owner, they gave me wrong info twice! I have put in multiple calls and had no return calls from the Hotel or Corporate. Do you have no shame people!Final Business Response THIS IS THE LAST TIME WE ARE GOING TO RESPONSE.AS STATED IN OUR LAST RESPONSE,WE NEVER OPENED THE SUITCASE (HAD LOCKS ON THEM THINKING THEY WERE LOCKED WE NEVER TRIED TO OPEN IT).YOU SENT SOMEBODY ELSE TO PICK UP YOUR SUITCASE.WE GAVE THAT SUITCASE TO THEM AND WE DO NOT KNOW WHAT HAPPENED AFTER THAT. AGAIN THIS IS THE LAST TIME WE ARE GOING TO RESPONSE.Final Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)There were never locks on the suitcase. I left it in the locked hotel room and contacted your staff notifying them that I had left it behind. I had my niece pick it up. Your staff is responsible for the missing items. Also noticed a lot of other things missing, but am mostly concerned about the jackets. Issue has not been dealt with in a proper manner; no attempts to contact me or help me further have been made.

My Husband gave them his credit card to charge $150.00 to stay at the Hotel for one week. They charged us $412.91. I have been trying to get our money back. I was being helped by [redacted] who referred me to [redacted] who does not exist. I was given to [redacted] who said they always do that. He said he was the Manager. I tried to call back and talk to [redacted] again and was told no one works there by that name. The lady told me to speak to [redacted] but he won't be in for days. All I want is my money. I have proff of the charge. Way more then the $150.Desired Settlement412.91 plus an additional $100. From hours I lost at work having to deal with this all day. From 10-am-5pm. Off and on the phone.
