This hotel was not very good Our room had no working phone and the smoke detector was ripped out of the wall and the door stuck We had to carry the microwave and coffee maker to another part of the room to plug them in The room was dirty and there was blood on the towel When we tried to talk to the front desk about these things, we were told the general manager would call us the next day, but he never has and it has been almost weeks We will never stay here again and will put Baymont Inns on the bottom of our list We stay in a lot of hotels and this one was terrible

I checked into the Baymont Hotel located Ana Drive in the back of *** off highway 72, on June
24th about 9:30pm in Alabama and checked out at 11:am June 26th .We were there for our family reunion and I've never experience such poor hospitality and aggravation in my lifeWhen we first arrived I noticed a large dead bug in the room by the door, which was my first warning, I went to *** and purchased some bug spray which was a very wise choiceI spent my entire stay there spraying bugs constantly flying around the roomThen I noticed the phone or clock didn't workI told the housekeeper the next dayShe said the plugs were fine, then she made a comment about you're lucky, some of the rooms don't have airShe brought me another phoneAbout an hour later I tried to take a shower, my mom was brushing her teeth and the water was cut of! That was the last strawI complained to the manager *** and she replied, "sorry, they was filling up the swimming pool." Mean

Bed bugs found in the room checked after complaint ask credit card Be refunded!! Has not after calls requesting it be taken care of!

First and foremost, I did check this guest isUpon check in, we have signs posted on debit cards, credit cards, and pre-paid cards because we have a new systemThis guest paid with a pre-paid card and our system charged the card the correct amount up frontThe guest extended her stay with another
employee and our system automatically held the additional fundsThe guest came down and demanded to speak with me at 12midnight and I was offI gave instructions to the desk agent on what to doThe guest got mad and curst out my staff and threw the phone at herThe guest stated that if she don't get her money or talk to me she would go to Jail about her moneyOn that Sunday morning I spoke to the guest and explained to her what happened and I released all the funds that was held on our endI also told her that we are not holding any funds and that it was her banking intuition that is holding her fundsThe guest was very upset and call me a *** and hung up the phoneAll this is recorded and I sent it to *** customer careWhen the guest was due to check out, I was working the deskThe guest came to the desk demanding that I send a letter to her banking intuition stating that we released her fundsI told that guest that I'm no longer handling her issue to avoid any confutation because she was very hostile to my staff and called me a *** and that she need to take it up with *** Customer careLong story short I sent the letter stating to release her fundsHer banking intuition was the issue in not the hotelWe followed all protocol concerning this matter except put the guest out after she threw the phone at my staff and curst us outIf you need a detail on this report, please contact *** Customer Care. Beautiful hotel rooms, great amenities, wonderful staff and caring Management!

This is in response to the complaint filed by Watts and LaverneFrom the moment they walked in the lobby they were the most uncivilized and disruptive group of guests I have come across in my years of hotel experienceWhen the conversation starts with *** and *** I refuse to discuss any
furtherI had canceled their rooms even before they went inHowever, since they didn't have enough money to pay for rooms at another hotel they requested to allow them to stayWhich in hind sight was a big mistakeI told them we are in the process of renovation, and asked them to inspect the room before they checked in, additionally they were given an hour, if they were not satisfied with the room, they could leave in which case they would have received a full refundThey were also informed that there will be no refunds if they decided to stay the nightThe next morning they raided the lobby demanding refunds, verbally abusing me and my employeesThey also added that they will be knocking on all the guest doors just like they do in the projectsThey have been harassing us ever since. We did speak to the consumer and it was a system error and they were not charged, and this has been Resolved

I recently booked a room there on Saturday May 10th, 2014. My sons prom....we booked a room near after prom for his convenience. My friend and I had not been in the room all day due to exploring, eating, walking around. After being tired, we went up in the room to relax and watch tv. We were in the room for 5 minutes (while sitting on the bed) and 2...TWO...bed bugs were on my clothes! I had to quickly change clothes, put exposed clothes in a plastic bag, and pack up to leave and find a different hotel. It was midnight!! I was not happy!!! I went down, with the bed bugs in a tissue and put them on the counter for the front desk to see. She couldn't even look at me, refunded my money and we left to find a new hotel in Sandusky. Here I was, at midnight, trying to find a different hotel, meanwhile my son was on his way back from prom and did not have a hotel to meet us at. This is the whole point of why I got a room in the first place! I called and spoke with the hotel, but not to my surprise, all she said was sorry. Thanks [redacted] Ok...you refunded my money, EXPECTED....CLEARLY!! But to inconvenience my family and effect our plans in so many negative ways, shame on you for not doing more!!! You should have picked up my bill for the new, cleaner, more caring and concerned hotel, along with the gas money I had to use up in the middle of the night to search for a new hotel, in an area I was not familiar with. Yes, I will spread the word on the bed bug issue regarding your hotel, room 305. Sad!! The new hotel felt so bad for us she gave us a discount! Thank you [redacted] in Sandusky for being so concerned about us in the middle of the night! They took care of us!

Worse Customer Services. I had to cancel my trip and I was told that my reservation was lost, but they would NOT charge my card. They charged my card and then when I called to let them know, I was lied to and assured it would be fixed that day. Then the next day I wake to find that they ran my card AGAIN. I called them back, I was told that the manager quit and they would have to wait for the owner. I was refunded back ONCE, but here it is a week later, still been calling every day trying to get my money back. They keep telling me that they are working on. They never call me, I have to call them every day.
