Bayou Bar and Grill Reviews (2)

The staff has no customer services. The food was not freshly prepared. On March 25,2015 at 11:45, I picked up my call in order of 3 Cajun chicken salad with blackened chicken and 4 crab stuffed shrimp total being 43.01. I work at [redacted] maybe 7 to 10 minutes away, I placed order and immediately left my job to pick it up, was told it would be ready in 10 minutes. Anyway I got my order and returned to work. We started to eat and everyone said that the salads tasted funny. The chicken wasn't freshly prepare because it was cold. The red cabbage is usually made with some kind of sauce but it wasn't any on there. That's what got me attached the red cabbage so yes, it was a big difference. I called to file complaint with the manager on duty. He stated he didn't know what to tell me because he can ensure me that it was prepared correctly. He never asked what he could do to help or I'm sorry your food wasn't tasteful. I have eaten at the Bayou a lot of times, and I always get the salad because of the way they prepare the red cabbage. I have brought people here to eat and also speak on this place all the time. I think you all need to brushing up on your customer service skills and make sure food is prepared freshly whether its a call in or dine in. The food items aren't cheap and people expect fresh food.Desired SettlementA refund would be appreciated but it really doesn't matter because I won't return to a business that lack acknowledgement of wrong doing or acknowledge customer complaints.Business Response We are very sorry that Ms. [redacted] had a bad experience at the Bayou Bar & Grill. We work very hard every day to produce the the freshest food possable. We hope Ms [redacted] will give us another try. Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)I won't be returning because I don't like to waste my money.

Something of mine was removed from my table when it was bussed and not returned. I took my Dad to the restaurant for his 88th birthday along with my wife. All three of us are disabled and were having trouble opening packaged items. I used my pocket knife. The table was bussed while I was in the restroom. My father was cold so when I got back I paid and we left. The next day I discovered I had left my knife which wasn't on the table where I had been sitting. I notified the manager via E-mail as soon as I realized it was left. The manager replied June 14th. I replied with a brief description on the 14th. I waited until the 23rd and sent another e-mail stating I hadn't heard anything. I sent a URL with a picture and full description along with an account of what had transpired. He replied the 24th asking when we were there. I replied the 24th. The 27th I received another e-mail stating the manager ([redacted] had been out of town. I have not heard a word since. The knife is only about a $100 but holds way more sentimental value for me. The fact that their staff removed something that is obviously was not theirs. Why the manager seems to care less. Really how long does it take to walk in say someone removed a knife off of the table. I don't care who I just need the knife returned. It is obvious to me he doesn't care I was literally robbed in his establishment. So the general public needs to know if they patron the restaurant they run the risk of being robbed.Desired SettlementI want my knife back. Let him buy whomever got it a new one I would like mine back. I also would like to speak with whoever he reports to for an explanation as to why this happened and why their management staff ([redacted]) doesn't care enough to follow up on a customer who was robbed by an employee.Business Response Based on a conversation the Revdex.com had with the company; Mr.[redacted] states that he does not have the consumer, Mr. [redacted]'s knife nor does his staff and he does not know where it is. Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)Mr[redacted] took way too long to respond. He waited weeks to responding to e-mails. Even if it had been turned in MR[redacted]'s lack of attention allowed too much opportunity for it to vanish. I feel MR[redacted] tried to brush me off as is evident by his lack of response. This needs to be public so others know to watch personal items while at this restaurant. Final Business Response Dear Revdex.com,After I heard from Mr. [redacted], I questioned everyone on my staff asking if any of them had seen thisknife. I also searched lost and found and other possible locations for it but, it did not turn up.I am very sorry that Mr. [redacted] lost his knife but I simply do not have it, nor do I believe anyone on mystaff has it. I am also sorry that I did not respond to him in a timely fashion. I realize that being busy isno excuse.Sincerely,[redacted]
