Bayouland Screen Printer Reviews (3)

Hello, we are very sorry you have had an unpleasant experience with us.  We also apologize for the misunderstanding of whomever you spoke with in the office.  We do not have many leaking roofs.  In fact, our business is primarily ran on referrals--which means we have many happy,...

satisfied customers.  This winter, was in fact, one of the most brutal winters for homeowners--especially for us in the east.  Many were left without power for weeks, with trees and ice damaging homes.  We have received many new customers who reached out to us with many issues due to the winter weather and are very satisfied with the finished product.  These new customers came to us from word of mouth from previous customers, due to a high satisfaction rate of our customers. We have repaired your roof as soon as it leaked and are aware of the ceiling tiles that need to be replaced.  Someone did come out to look at the ceiling tiles; however, when we went to our supplier they said they would need more specifics on the tiles so they would match (we did not install the ceiling tiles in the first place).  We did call you to find out what kind of ceiling tiles were in the room and you were not sure. We are more than happy to fix the issue, please give us a call at ([redacted].

I am rejecting this response because:the alleged condition is speculation and has not actually been disgnosed by you. It was a visual inspection from the ground and then a conclusion was drawn that conveniently exludes the roofer from any and all liability? Hmmmmm.

[redacted], -The PA uniform construction code requires the use of R-38 insulation in ceilings.  You have at best R-9. ([redacted] ice damming) - R-38 is 12 inches thick, you have a maximum of a 2x8 rafters (space between sheetrock ceiling and shingle roof) that gives you 7 1/2" of space.  -After you...

take out the space for the insulation baffle (-1"), then you take out the space for the HVAC vent that runs between the rafters at that point (-4") you have approximately 2" of space for insulation. Which then allows for a maximum of an R-9 of fiberglass insulation. Which of course is 80% shy of the building code. As I explained before, just because a township inspector overlooked a code doesn't put the roofer liable for the resulting issues of the overlook.Tell us why here...
