To Whom It May Concern,My name is Michael B***I run Bays PC Repair in Salem/Keizer areaI serviced [redacted] ’s PCin SeptemberAt that time she complained that she had changed her hard drive and felt thatshe had been given a version of Windows that was corrupt.Immediately after hearing of her situation I downloaded a new copy of Windows directlyfrom the Microsoft websiteI burned her a disk and brought it to her appointmentShe wasneither charged for the time to do this nor the disk itself.I arrived at the appointment and she again explained she felt that she was a victim and Ilistened to her situationI explained that when we reformatted her hard drive it would removeany infections and that with the new version of Windows she would again be working in cleanenvironmentThis is exactly what was performedThis can be checked out by anyone thatknows computers and they will tell you that a reformatted hard drive means the old data hasbeen removed.Again because of what she felt she had been through I actually charged her LESS than myrateMy rate is $per hourThe job in total was over hours but at any rate shewould have normally been charged $for what was doneI decided to only charge hour at areduced rate of $50.She did not have the money on hand so I took her to the corner to get the cashAfter therepair I also took several phone calls from her to try to alleviate her concernsFor all of theabove I received $labor and now a complaint with the Revdex.com.With respect to [redacted] she feels she knows something about computers and the truth is herknowledge is very limitedShe goes poking around in critical Windows files and for some reasonbelieves that they are infected though it was not even connected to the internetShe needs tobe told the truth and that is that there was nothing wrong with the computer after the completionof the job and she is putting me in the position that there was nothing wrong with the workperformed by the other company either whom she felt also ripped her offIn my opinion sheneeds to be humble enough to admit that she does not know what she is looking at when shelooks at the files in a Windows installation, instead she has allowed herself to believe everyoneis out to get her.I was NOT out to get her and treated her more than fairlyI am someone who tries to treatpeople in a kind manner and that applies not just to my business but also in my personal life.While it is true that perhaps she wanted me to do more to fix her problem I acted fairly and didmy best to help herI would ask that she reconsiders her action and withdraws her complaintwith the Revdex.com.Lastly I would address her demeanorI am indeed a man over lbs and while I guess thatis fat it is most unkindI also drive a dark blue Mazda with a $lease payment that is hardlygaudyI run my own company and I make very modest money every month which I am ok withbecause I enjoy what I do and I am able to provide for my family of I also have hundreds ofcustomers who would heartily disagree with [redacted] as they are treated fairly and kindly.While I feel for her situation that she is on a fixed income, as the exact work performed wasmore than reasonable she is not entitled a refundI stated that I would charge $per hourBEFORE the job started so she apparently already knew it was rent money and proceeded withthe workYou can’t then say hey look you took my rent moneyThank you for your time.Respectfully,Michael B***-Owner

I also have hundreds ofcustomers who would heartily disagree with [redacted] as they are treated fairly and kindly.While I feel for her situation that she is on a fixed income, as the exact work performed wasmore than reasonable she is not entitled a refund. I stated that I would charge $50 per hourBEFORE the job started so she apparently already knew it was rent money and proceeded withthe work. You can’t then say hey look you took my rent money.
