Bayshore Awnings

Review: After the delivery of our replacement fabric for our patio awning in May 2013, we noticed several issues with it and called the owner of Bayshore Awnings to express our concerns. He met with us and agreed to fix a few poor workmanship issues including: a tear in one of the side panels, fraying at the finished edges of all panels, and the incorrect length of the side panels, and the soiling on the finished edge of the main panel, and puckering at the seams of all 3 panels. He told us he would fix most of the issues by replacing the side panels and cleaning the outside edge of the main awning panel. He told us that the puckering at the seams was a result of the fabric being new and it's reaction to the humidity and that it would eventually go away. He was alone during the meeting and made an appointment to bring his assistant to pick up the fabric on Friday, May 23. He failed to show that day and many times after. We have been calling him and his office since. For the most part, our phone calls and voicemail messages were not returned. However, on 3 or 4 occasions he and his office made appointments for the pick up of the fabric. The last appointment he made with us was this morning, October 5 and once again he failed to show or call to cancel/reschedule the appointment.Desired Settlement: At this point, it's hard to trust that the issues will ever be fixed. At this point, we'd like him to pick up the fabric and issue us a full refund for the job ($1,391)
