Thank for taking my call this afternoon. We have been in business for past 17 years and have two motels in Ventura CA. We have done as... much as we could to work with the guest regarding the room, call them three times for direction,making sure they will arrive before the office closes , holding the room for them as well as providing the service. The guest wanted to put seven people in the room and we can not allow that. By our standard, that is too many people in the room for $88.50. While in the office they convince the front desk that they will manage to sleep seven people on beds and on the floor. we also advice to get two rooms and second room will be at discounted rate. We don't have cockroaches, holes in the wall or rodents. As the guest mention, how would he or his family member know about the mattress when they were in the room for 20- minutes. His brother also use the bathroom and that means the room was used. His brother must have slept on the bed or pull the sheets to see if the beds were not comfortable. If this would have happen before 4 pm we would or might have consider refund or charge the room for 1/2 price and have the housekeeper clean the room and have re rented the room. Review: My family's 5 minute stay at the Bayshore Inn Motel was more than disgusting, my brothers approached me and my dad while checking in the office informing us of the dissatisfaction that they had as soon as they walked in the door from cockroaches, holes in the walls, possibly from rodents, a lingering smell of unparalleled description and not to mention the mess the furniture and matress had disturbingly been. While my brothers approached me and my dad the man finished explaining how I would need to rent another two bedroom sweet in order to accommodate my brothers whom my dad had brought to visit me from Visalia, CA. Being nowhere else to go except Bayshore inn within a 25 mile radius on a saturday night they were forced to go back home as appose to living in those sub human conditions. As M[redacted] claims, it was because there was not enough room there for all of us that we decided not to stay in his run of a litter motel, regardless of whether or not we had the option of another bedroom to split the family in separate sweets, my brothers would not partake in those hazardous living conditions.I have the phone video in mp4 format, please feel free to contact me via email to recieve the copy since I am unable to attach as an mp4 format.Desired Settlement: Mr. P[redacted] and his wife clearly saw my brothers walk in the office and explain out loud on a whole separate note that they were not going to be forced to stay there no matter what. Mr. P[redacted] and his wife agreed to refund my credit card for the charges, which I have recorded on my phone. I called my credit union this morning before work and was told they had run the charge, and are using the fact that me and my family did not fit in a 2 bedroom room as a scapegoat to get away from reimbursing us.

Review: In town for a funeral, I purchased a hotel room on Saturday September 5th, 2015. THAT WE NEVER STAYED IN because we felt UNSAFE! As soon as my sister and I checked in and walked to our hotel room, we noticed some suspicious men & women loitering the parking lot and asking for money. Once we walked into the room we immediately smelled a foul order. The room smelled of cigarettes and mold! The Locks on the doors were loose and could be easily knocked down. Unsafe if you have children with you. The screens on the windows were torn and the bedspread had STAINS on it! There was a cockroach on the floor!! We IMMIDIATLEY left the room and gave the room key back to the owner and told him why we could not stay there. I looked on YELP.COM/BAYSHOREINNVENTURA and there are other people who have complained and said the same things I experienced about this hotel.Desired Settlement: I have tried to resolve this matter with the Owner named "Mayor" He has gave me multiple emails to send my dispute to, with NO response whatsoever. I only got the run around from him. All I want is for this UNSANITARY, UNSAFE motel to get inspected and coded, and maybe if possible get refunded my $180.00
