In response to this complaint Bayside Auto Sales has responded in this manorSince selling Mr*** his Escape we have always taken care of him, shortly after his purchase his transmission went out and we bought a transmission and paid the labor to installOur intentions are not to sell
people cars that brake down thats why we take care of our customers, this time I believe there was a lapse in communication and thats what generated this complaintSince then we have contacted, towed adn currently have his Escape at one of the shops we have used for years and again will take care of him by fixing itSorry for the this was handled and Bayside Auto Sales strives for 100% customer satisfactionJamie F*

I have attempted to contact the customer for a week now and have gotten zero response.The customer  called in after a rear brake locked up and we immediately got the vehicle into a mechanic and paid for a complete overhaul of the rear brakes, we also loaned him a vehicle to drive while the car...

was in the shop. The next day he called in because the vehicle had died, we got the vehicle into a mechanic to diagnose the problem, the diagnosis was that he had run the vehicle out of gas, which caused the fuel pump to seize and fail. We paid to replace the fuel pump and again loaned him  a car to drive while the repairs were being done. When he  picked the vehicle up and began to drive some of the particles from the broken fuel pump were sucked up into the fuel filter and caused it to shutter a bit, he returned to the mechanic and they again fixed it at no cost to him. We certainly never told him he was "SOL", we actually spent $1300 to fix his vehicle that he paid $4,999 for. I believe we helped every step of the way and did everything we could resolve the issues.

We are sorry Mr [redacted] has had issues. The vehichle he purchased was very  inexpensive ($1600) and there is no telling how long a car will last. Having said that we always want our customers to be satisfied and we have continued to offer Mr [redacted] an exchange of his car that is supposedly broke...

down with a car that runs good and have given him multiple choices of vehiches. Mr [redacted] only wants a refund which we think is unreasonable since it ran fine while in our possession and we have no control of what happens to a car out of our possesion while he is driving it and we don't know if it broke due to miss-use or it just broke.

Jamie and Julio are doing everything to make this right. They currently have the vehicle in the shop, and are really striving to ensure that we have a wonderful working vehicle. These guys are amazing. There was a lapse in communication just as Jamie said.
