Review: I leased a brand new 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee from bayside jeep on January * 2015. On March [redacted] the car started having major electrical problems the car dropped speed while I was driving and every light on the dashboard appeared. I took it to service where they supposedly fixed it and exactly 1 month later I'm back at service with the same exact problem! I asked for a manager as I want a new car I do not feel safe driving this vehicle with a nasty attitude he said to call cooperate and deal with them they aren't replacing my car. I am scared for my life to drive this car!Desired Settlement: I want another 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee same model same everything just a new because this car obv has a lot of issues and I've only had it for 3 n 1/2 months

Review: I purchased a vehicle from this dealership on May [redacted], 2015. I signed the contract, the dealer signed the contract. I contacted the dealer the next day ( May [redacted]) and asked if I could add some options to the new car. The salesman who sold the car told me he would look into it.I waited a day and then I called them up. The salesman was busy and I left a message . The salesman never returned my call.I called twice again and no call back. I emailed the dealer several times and no response. I used the dealerships live chat feature and left a message there as well. I haven't heard from the dealer since Tuesday morning. The dealer refuses to communicate with me. I get the feeling they promised too much and couldn't find a suitable car to make a profit on. So they choose to ignore me hoping I'll tear up the contract and buy elsewhere.I contacted Chrysler corporation and explained my situation . I'm waiting for their response. I just wanted to file a complaint against this dealership. Car dealerships need some serious oversight . The stuff they pull is borderline criminal.Desired Settlement: I want this purchase contract transferred to another dealership in my area. I asked Chrysler to intervene on my behalf and get the contract transferred. I don't wanna deal with people who ignore me. I just purchased a brand new car and don't wanna be in a situation in the future when they ignore me again. They promised me free oil for life and free state inspections. I can't trust these people ever again. They ignored me for 4 days ! These dealers are all over you when they sense a sale

Review: I have contacted this company over a dozen times to tell them to remove me from their mailing list and stop mailing me nonsense about selling them vehicles that I do not even own. Each time they say they will remove me from their list, and then keep mailing to me. This has been going on for well over a year and a half. They are either incredibly incompetent and do not know how to use their mailing list, or they do not care about the public and keep harassing me. Either way, this time of harassment needs to stop. The company refuses to. This should not be legal.Desired Settlement: REMOVE ME FROM THEIR MAILING LIST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

I have contacted this company approximately 20 times over the course of 3 years to stop harassing me with junk mail. They have refused to do so and continue to sell me junk mail about vehicles that I not even own. The mail is endless and pointless

Desired Settlement: For this company to stop harassing me and remove my from all levels of communication from them.

Review: 09/**/13: I purchased a 2012 Dodge Grand Caravan. I was given a 30-day transit plate because I was moving to NH within a month. I received no copies of the paperwork that was completed. I was told that I would receive copies of the sales paperwork within a couple of days.

09/**/13: Called Bayside repeatedly regarding sales paperwork. Received a call from [redacted]. Was told additional signatures were needed from myself, granting power of attorney in New Hampshire. I waited. He did not come or return calls.

09/**/13: Called Bayside and left messages. Received call from [redacted]. Arranged to meet him or his representative from Bayside at my apartment. He did not come and did call.

Called Bayside weekly asking for paperwork; itemized sales receipt, financing details, tag and title information, etc...

10/**/13: Called Bayside asking for paperwork. Expressed extreme concern that the In-Transit plate was about to expire.

10/**/13: In-Transit plates on vehicle expired rendering the vehicle illegal to drive.

11/**/13: TD Auto Finance contacted me to see why I had not made my first car payment. I explained that I had no paperwork, that I had been calling Bayside regularly asking for information and they were not providing any, and that I did not even know the TD Auto Finance was the bank that I had been financed through, as I had received no paperwork. Expressed concern that this would affect my otherwise excellent credit. TD Rep removed late fees and made notes on my file.

11/**/13: Called NH DMV to see if they had received the application for NH Title. They had two weeks ago. It is processing with an estimated four to six weeks completion time.

11/**/13: I called Bayside and spoke with [redacted]. She told me that she expected to receive the necessary registration documents, and would be overnighting the paperwork to me.

11/**/13: I did not receive the paperwork that was supposed to be mailed overnight. I called Bayside and spoke to [redacted]. He told me that NH's tag and title fees were more than the dealership anticipated ($125.00) and that I would need to pay the dealership an additional $400.00 to receive my paperwork.Desired Settlement: I would like the sales paperwork that was completed. I would like the title and tag information that is necessary for me to register the vehicle. I would like the second key and the floor mats for the vehicle.

Response:

To: Whom It May Concern:

[redacted] plates and registration were mailed out to him on or about 11/**/13 without additional charge. Per customers "desired settlement" we have malled out a copy of the Bill of Sale and Contract. Customer is also requesting floor mats and a second key but pre-owned vehicles are sold cosmetically as equipped.

Review: My husband and I have called a number of times to resolve a few issues. M husband went over there on 7/*/13 to resolve a refund check issue. [redacted] the Financial person "put in" a check request for about $1,400. Not only was this ignored my policy cancellation has been ignored as well. As the days go by I lose money from the contract. He supposedly put in the cancellation and check request on 6/**/13. It is going on 2 weeks and no response. Also, my car insurance was on the verge of being cancelled because the Bill Of Sale was never faxed over to Geico. It is beyond frustrating and I would like this resolved ASAP.Desired Settlement: Cancel Policy from the date I requested the cancellation 6/**/13. Receive my refund check.

Business

Response:

Customer was refunded all monies due.

Review: Purchased a pre-owned vehicle from this dealership and have had no registration due to faulty title for over four months, and receiving parking violations.Desired Settlement: Valid registration for my vehicle which I continue to make timely payments for. Feel they should be investigated for misleading consumers to purchase vehicles which are not legally ready for sale.

Business

Response:

Enclosed copy of Registration. All Parking violations Pd by Bayside Chrys Jeeps

Review: On 6/**/2013 my husband and I leased a new 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited from the named dealership. We provided a downpayment of almost $18000.00. After we picked up the vehicle we realized that the vehicles GPS/Navigation system was not working properly. We notified the dealer the next morning and returned it a few days later to have it repaired. After waiting for a few hours the vehicle was returned to us with the accompanying paperwork and we were informed that the system was now working fine. As we again drove the vehicle home we took notice that the system was still not working. We returned immediately to the dealership and they gave me another appointment to return to have it repaired. I returned the vehicle a second time, waited several hours and was again given back the vehicle and the repair paperwork. Again I left the dealership and again the system was still not working. We again contacted the dealership who told us they did not know how to fix this problem and they referred us to the Chrysler customer service department. After several calls to them they opened a case, # [redacted], and told me they would look into it. After not hearing back from them after a few days I called them back. They also told me they did not know how to correct this problem and told me that it was my responsibility to have it corrected and the told me to call the system manufacturer, Navtec. I called Navtec and they told me they also did not have a fix for this problem. I now called back Chrysler customer service and they told me that they were very sorry but their was nothing they could do, I called they dealership and they told me the same. So, I now have a brand new fancy Jeep that I paid lots of money for that is broken and cannot be fixed. I never heard of a dealership that sells or leases a car with a full warranty that has the customer doing the research into how to fix a dealership problem. This car is brand new, it has a warranty, but they will not or cannot honor it. I am now paying for something that I do not have and they have not been able to repair.Desired Settlement: I just want the system to work. I am paying for this car and I am not at all getting what I paid for.

Review: I looked at a 2010 Chrysler Town and Country with advertised price of $13,888. I decided to purchase. I told the salesman ([redacted]) what the terms that I was looking for - $4000 down with payments under $250. He and his manager said "no problem." He showed me what was supposed to be the vehicle. I put down a "totally refundable" $100 deposit using my debit card. It turns out that was not the correct vehicle, which I discovered when I compared the VIN of the vehicle I saw and the on-line advertisement and the agreement prepared by the dealer. The next day, August *, 2013 I spoke with the finance manager ([redacted]) several times, I told him about the discrepency and was told they would clear that up. I reiterated several times my terms of purchase - payments must be under $250 - each time was assured that payments were under that amount and was told I could pick the car up later that day. I specifically left work early to go to the dealer. I waited over an hour and a half to speak with [redacted]. He ultimately told me that the payments were over $450 a month. When I questioned how the payments were so high, I was told that the car price was almost $19,000. This was outrageous and the first time I was given this price. I said I was not purchasing the vehicle and needed my deposit refunded. The dealership refused to refund my deposit. I contacted the NYPD but they said there was nothing they could do, even though they had been to this particular dealership a number of times due to customer complaints.Desired Settlement: Refund of my $100 deposit immediately. An investigation into the selling/advertising practices of this dealership.

Business

Response:

[redacted] came in off the internet price on a 2010 Chrysler, TIC. We sold the vehicle for the internet price plus taxes plus motor vehicle fees. [redacted] had challenged credit so the only bank that approved the loan offered him a high interest

rate. This made the payment higher they [redacted] expected.

[redacted] requested a refund and we explained no one was here to do a refund and asked him to return the next day and we would at that time issue the refund.

He started getting upset and bad mouthing the dealership, which was unnecessary and then stormed out.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

[Your Answer Here]

The dealership attempted to charge and include bogus "fees" in the sum of approximately $6000-7000 without any explanation. The interest rate was not at issue, but the bogus dealership fees which raised the price of the vehicle from an agreed upon price of approximately $12,000 to $19,000.

When I asked for a refund, I was rudely told that refunds are only issued on Fridays and I would have to come back. This was unacceptable and told the manager on duty so. He then told me to leave, at which time I contacted the police who advised me that they had responded to complaints against the dealership on a number of occasions, but could not do anything as this was a civil matter. The NYPD directed me to file a report with Consumer Affairs Bureau.

Thank you.

Review: I'm writing this in behalf of my elderly mother ( her command of the English languish is limited) Her name is [redacted] of the same address and owner of the vehicle.

My mother had her car a 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee towed to the bayside jeep chrysler for a repair covered by warranty ( starter or ignition problem. Car did not start at all times) on 8/**/2013.

On 8/**/2013 she was informed that the car was repaired and ready to be pick up.

I went with her to help her and she was presented with a bill of $1326.64. I was astonished !!!!!!!!!!! I asked the sales/repair adviser Why the additional so called repairs & charges and he replied that he had called my mother on the phone and had gotten authorization to make additional repairs that they said they discovered. I asked how how was that possible since my mother has limited knowledge of English? His response was that she gave him her DOB and that in itself was

considered an authorization. I asked him if he had tried to explain and informed my mother of the amount the additional repairs will cost and he didn't remember. Car has mid 50s k mileage and its in excellent condition. My mother (85 years old) and I feel that the repair shop took advantage of her age, limited English and non existent knowledge of cars repairs, to do additional unwarranted, unnecessary and unauthorized repairs on the car at a great personal expense to my elderly mother!!!!!!!! This practice is DESPICABLE and OUTRAGEOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you [redacted] in behalf of [redacted]Desired Settlement: A full credit card refund or a severe bill reduction

To whom it may concern,

Customer came into dealer with issue that was covered under her service contract, she had a co-pay of $150.00. Tech found an issue that was not covered by her service contract and she approved the repair. Tech also found service needed to four wheel drive system in which customer also approved.

We feel we did nothing wrong in this situation.

Sincerely.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

[Your Answer Here]

The issue is NOT $150 Copay. The issue is that the vehicle was taken to Bayside auto service for a SPECIFIC (Warranty covered) Repair!! ONLY!! Bayside auto service was NEVER Authorized to look for , investigate, search, poke, test or WHATEVER for ANY other issue that the vehicle May or May NOT have. They said that an Approval was obtained from my Mother over the phone. That's NOT true. My mother has a limited understanding of the English language She does NOT understand enough to approve such repairs. If she had understood that additional repairs was needed in the amount of over $1.000.00 she would have consult me and as we ONLY live about a mile from the repair shop I would have gone there with her ask questions, and SIGN an approval if we thought repairs was needed and if we wanted them done at their shop. Let them show a PROOF of Approval. Its an DISGRACEFUL ACT of FRAUD perpetrated on an Unaware Elderly person!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Review: To. Person whom may concern:

Please be advised that I have experienced unethical, deceptive, and fraudulent practices with Bayside Chrysler Jeep Inc. I purchased a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee (VIN [redacted]) on May [redacted] 2014 from Bayside Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram which is located on [redacted].

On the same day, [redacted]) promised to give me the vehicle for $40,200.00, nevertheless [redacted] stick extra $3,400.00 into the "Portfolio Protection Fee" and $3,190.00 into the "Limited Guarantee Agreement” that was not fully explained and disclosed.

By adding these “warranties”($6,590.00), I was disqualified to get 0% APR, even though I made $9500.00 for the down payment. With all these deceptive tactics, [redacted] and Bayside Chrysler Jeep INC intended to make that I only made $2,910.00 for the down payment in order to increase the interest rate and number of payments.

If you sum these “warranties” with the unacceptable finance charge of $2,597.00, [redacted] and Bayside Chrysler Jeep INC overcharged about $10,000.00.

As you can clearly see, [redacted] and Bayside Chrysler Jeep INC engaged in unethical and fraudulent practices designed to mislead and induce me into purchasing the vehicle. Therefore, I can not agree with the contract and associated “warranties” that given by Bayside Chrysler Jeep INC without full disclosure.

Sincerely, [redacted] June/**/2014Desired Settlement: I am willing to enter into a new purchase contract with the dealer, for the same vehicle, that contains reasonable, fully disclosed.

(Indeed, 0% APR that I was qualified, and NO hidden costs of warranties.)

Review: I went in to purchase a jeep wrangler from dealership. I gave them the keys to do an appraisal. I agreed to purchase the vehicle. I informed them I had not cleaned out the car. I was told I would be able to after I signed the papers for purchase. [redacted] informed me he would be bring my car next to the purchased vehicle so I could clean it out.

At the end of signing all papers, finance etc. It was 10 Pm.

I asked to clean out my car and was informed by [redacted] that he had transferred all items to the new car. He stated my car had been moved to Belmont for storage.

I asked about my items which he assured me had been removed.

I called the next AM and was told my car was at. Belmont and someone would retrieve my first aid kit.

I went to get it that afternoon and was told the next day the car was gone, and my first aide kit would be replaced.

For 2 weeks I spoke to [redacted], [redacted], and [redacted].

Today (which is week 3) I was told by [redacted] that my first aide kit would not be replaced, that it was part of the deal.

It explained it was not and had I been given the opportunity to clean out my car myself I would not have left it.

I feel they should stick to their original agreement to replace it . They did not give me opportunity to clean out my car myself.Desired Settlement: They should stick to their original agreement to replace it, since [redacted] made the decision to clean out the car.

Review: I went to Bayside Chrysler Jeep Dodge intent to buy a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit. I put down $1,000 deposit for the car and gave them a week time to find me the car. A week after, they keep telling me they can't find the car in the area, which later I was able to purchase with another dealership. I asked for the refund on Monday, June **. the manager told me it would be refund within 72 hours and the staff was very rude. As today, June **, I haven't got my refund back. I went to the dealership, the manager told me to give me 2 more day to process. I have called the credit card to open a dispute case. I am upset the Bayside Chrysler keep telling lies to customer and horrible business practice. As of today June **, I have not been refunded.Desired Settlement: I would like Revdex.com to send them warning letter to stop this kind of business practice.

Review: We are happy with the minivan we purchased from this car dealership. They are, however, repeatedly calling and harassing us to either extend our warranty or purchase a new car. We have repeatedly requested that they stop calling and bothering us. I have emailed them twice with this request and called once. Today they called our two cell phones and our home phone with this request once again. I have complained to the FCC that they are failing to cease calling us although we have repeatedly requested it.Desired Settlement: I want this business to respect us and other customers and stop calling us and harassing us. Review: My car have been on this dealer since July ** of this year and it has not been repair yet. The dealer told me that a part number [redacted] was in back order with a number [redacted], and there was a problem with it. I called [redacted] and complaint on this issue on jAugust * of this year, and they told me that they will take care of it, so I should wait 4 to 5 business days to get an answer from them. Today August ** I called them to find out about the part. They told me that the part was delivered on Monday, August the [redacted], and they put me on hold at the phone, so they can called the dealer and see what happened. Once, they got back to me, they told me that the dealer used my part to fix another vehicle. Now I have to wait more time to get my car fix, because of that. I need my car for work and I think this is unacceptable. Please you can help me with this issue. Yes, I did have my car fix, but that is not all I want, I was not satisfy with this dealer, they did not even apologized nor give me any incentives for what they did. Case is not result from my point of view. Thanks.

Sincerely,

Review: I recently purchased a 2014 Jeep Cherokee at Bayside Chrysler Dodge Jeep. My salesperson was fine and helpful and I signed contract for a sale price of $37,045. When it came time to pickup the car I put down a total deposit of $15,000 and the balance was finance with Bayside's Finance Manager.

As a result of my own negligence and trust in the finance manage I foolishly signed papers in blank. The finance manager advised after signing all papers he would have the papers processed. Again I foolishly accepted this statement. After the delivery of the car I returned home and was horrified reviewing the paperwork and seeing the car with a purchase price of $37,045 would end up with a final price of $47,377.75. After finally reaching the finance manager and reviewing the Retail Installment Contract and questioning the difference in the cash due on delivery amount and total sale price on the Finance Contract, was told I misunderstood and the price as stated on my original agreement was not $37,045 and the best that could be done was eliminating a extended warranty charge that I was originally led to believe was an incentive for financing with Bayside. This would return $2,000.

After calming down I then called the General Manager for Bayside Chrysler Dodge Jeep, but unfortunately I have not yet received the courtesy of a return phone call.

This entire situation is what I consider fraudulent and dishonest.Desired Settlement: Refund of $10,332.75 and notice of Bayside's unethical dealing by the finance department and management

Response:

Today, 3/**/14 I received a letter from [redacted] of Bayside Chrysler Jeep Dodge. The letter requires my signature as acceptance of their offer to return $6,435 and to activate the Navigation in the 2014 Jeep, as part of the original deal with no additional cost or charge to me. In return I am to close out any open complaints I have filed against Bayside and deem them satisfactory and I am also to release credit card payments I placed on hold when this matter began.

I have signed their letter, FAXED it to [redacted] and he confirmed to me that he has received the signed letter and will begin processing his paperwork and I should hear from him, possibly be the end of the week or early next week.

Thank you for your assistance and I will advise when I hear further or receive their check.
