Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ***, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
After help from *** and several calls a day to Bayside, I finally received my refund. Bayside was difficult to work with, (as you can see from other testimonies) I was repeatedly hung up on, I didn't have any of my calls returned , even after leaving several messages, and was treated very rudelyAs for the disposition of the car, when trying to sell it to *** ***, I was provided with the vehicle history information , an that information Cleary shows that there was some issue with the original title, and that the car had actually been salvaged, and repaired and retitled. I have the documentation for these facts and am happy to attaché them. It was explained to me that the car had been auctioned at salvage and retitled. This drastically reduced the blue book value of the car and I am not able to recoup the difference, which is at a cost to me of $3,000. Byside motor's is extremely difficult to work with and it should be known that this dealership is not a trustworthy, reputable or friendly venue to purchase a vehicle. Due to their clear negligence and dishonesty, I am out the difference of the value of the vehicle purchased.
In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above

We almost got conned, and would like to warn other dealerships about this customer. At the time of trade-in, the customer claimed she lost the title, but she showed the salesperson a picture on her phone of the title with no lien on it. While we were in the process of obtaining a duplicate title, we...

found out that there was still a lien, and that she still owed $8,000 after refinancing her dodge. Had we known there was a lien on the trade in, the loan amounts would be different. There is no way that any dealership would take a trade in vehicle with a lien on it, and not adjust the numbers on the contract. We charged her $800 for usage of the car for a month, and she still owes us $300.

I give him my information and he completed my application. My application was approved and the cost of the new car was $15000 plus my current balance on the old car came to around $25,000. They deal was completed and [redacted] gave me their car and toke my old car. [redacted] said that when my bank send them the original title, my $500.00 will be returned. I feel that because of this dealership shady deal and the false information they are providing, they are the con. My bank that was and is currently financing my old car and the young men Micheal Toe who carry me to this dealership  can attest to the above story. Review: Went to this dealer to see a Nissan Sentra 2012 they had advertised on [redacted]. The car was there the salesman said the car was in excellent condition and had no reported accidents. They refused to give me a car fax on the vechile, nut I was still interested and left them a good faith deposit of $1000 in cash. I went home and ran the car fax report and found that it had been in a front end collision. I returned to the dealer showing them the car fax and asking for my deposit back. They have been giving me the run around since, claiming their accountant needs to come in a write out the check.Desired Settlement: I just want my deposit money returned

Business

Response:

Indeed our accountant was on vacation and there was no one to sign the checks. We asked the customer for a bit of time and explained the situation and told him the moment our accountant came back, we could overnight the check to him by Fed-Ex and provide hi m with a tracking number, but he was very rushed.

Before receiving this Revdex.com complaint, our accountant had returned from vacation, contacted him, and processed his refund.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved.

Sincerely,

Review: On July **, 2015 I notified Bayside that I would be cancelling my auto warranty policy, and requesting a refund. I contacted [redacted] to cancel the warranty policy on July **, 2015, and they canceled the warranty policy on July **, 2015.

On July **, 2015, and August **, 2015 [redacted] provided Bayside with the information that they need to issue the refund. I have attempted to contact Bayside several times (almost daily) and am always told no one is there for me to talk to, or they are not in, or they are with a customer (they say they only have one finance guy, named Ricky L**, and that the General Manager is Jason, who is never available and does not return my calls). I always leave my name and number, yet no one ever calls me back. Bayside never follows up or attempts to contact me. Since August **, Bayside either will not answer my calls, or they hang up on me when I call (their caller ID shows my number). on August **, 2015, [redacted] (Joe) confirmed that Bayside was in receipt of the letter of instruction and refund amount to me, and Bayside told [redacted] that they will be mailing me a check. [redacted] suggested that I call Bayside that same afternoon to ensure that the check was being sent out and I should ask for Amanda (who [redacted] spoke with). I called Amanda, she stated that no one was in to sign the check, but that the manager (Jason) should be in within a few days to sign my check and other checks they need signed.

Today, August **, 2015 I attempted to contact Bayside and was told that both Ricky and Amanda would not be in till 11:30. I called back at that time and was told they were not in, and they would give them a message. Around 2:00pm today I called Bayside and no one was available to talk to me, I was told there was only one sales person there and they couldn't' help me and then I was hung up on (which is not the first time they have hung up on me. Seems when they see my number, they pick up and hang up, or will not answer my calls. So, I called [redacted] back and asked them if they could help me, I spoke with Frank, he's was more then willing to help me. He read through the prior notes in reference to my dilemma, and called Bayside while placing me on hold. Bayside told him that my refund check will be in the mail tomorrow (August **, 2015) (they also confirmed my mailing address with Frank from [redacted]). [redacted] (Frank) also asked that I call him back Friday if I have not received the check and that he would follow up with Bayside. Bayside owes me the remaining balance of 1,350.00 on the cancelled warranty for . Bayside is aware that the car has been paid off and that the refund should be returned directly to me.

While going through this ordeal, I [redacted] Bayside Imports and 90% of the comments were similar to mine, and that customer service was horrible, and to stay away.

On another note, we purchased my son's care with them in January. We since have paid the car off and tried to sell it to [redacted], only to find out the car fax provided by Bayside was false and that the car was a salvaged car that has been re-titled, and was only worth 1/2 the cost we paid for it, since the repair work was not done at VW. So there is no way to recoup the cost of the car unless we try to sell it privately. In reading the review, it seems that this is a common practice of Bayside Imports. I encourage you to please read the reviews.

Bayside Imports needs to be investigated so that other consumers do not go through this horrible ordeal.Desired Settlement: Refund due to me from cancellation of my vehicle warranty of $1,350.00

Review: On October [redacted], 2015 I went to this dealership to purchase a vehicle. After test driving the car and coming to an agreement on the selling price we sat with the finance manager to begin the loan process. First one of the managers and the Finance Manager locked themselves in an office with my information and they processed the loan by themselves. I was not allowed to go into the office until they came up with an "offer". After about 45 minutes we sat and went over the terms. We were given a loan with Peoples Alliance FCU with a rate of 3.69% APR over a term of 72 months. The only thing we opted in for was the GAP insurance and we declined their extended service contracts. We asked for receipts and paperwork showing the contract and the loan terms and were only given a receipt for the $5000 bank check that we brought as down payment and a 1 page document that shows the vehicles' VIN and the terms of the loan approved. I was told that I couldn't get anything else on the spot, we would receive everything in the mail.

On November [redacted], 2015 we received a call from the dealership saying that there was something wrong with the loan and that the rate would have to be adjusted to 3.99% and we would have to go back to sign the new closing documents. I reiterated that those were not the terms that we agreed and signed for. Also, it took over 30 days for the dealership to contact me regarding the issues with the loan. on 10/*/15 we did a full closing that took almost 2 hours and were told that the loan was approved and we would receive our loan documents in the mail.

They are bullying me to come to the dealership to come sign the new documents or that they will come to my home to sign. I don't feel that I should have to submit to a dealership's error. If they made a mistake and did not contact me within a reasonable amount of time, they should own up to it. They had all of my information, Name, Address and phone number. It was all listed on the loan application. They had all the information necessary to contact me and did not do it.Desired Settlement: I signed for a loan with a rate of 3.69%APR. I understand that the business could have made a mistake and they reach out to me within 1 or 2 days to rectify the issue but 5 weeks is unacceptable. I have been using the vehicle and have been expecting the first bill to come in the mail. I budgeted around the rate that they gave to me when we closed and adjusting it would be a financial strain on me since the payment would go up. They insist that the amount that the payment will go up is minimal but at the end of the day, I agreed to the terms because those were the terms that fit into my budget. They should honor the rate that I signed for.

Business

Response:

We reduced the car price for the customer to make sure that the payment will still be the same.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted]. The situation regarding the montly payment has been resolved. I did not appreciate that a manager, Jason, called to call me a liar. My complaint did not contain any lies and his acusation was not justified. I want to go on the record to state buyer beware. Over 1 month after the issue was resolved, I still did not receive my vehicle registration. I was finally called on 12/**/15 and the dealership stated that they received my license plates and my registration. I purchased the vehicle in October and since then I have been driving with dealer plates with out being informed. I was told that my documents would arrive in the mail. I find it irresponsible that the dealer never made mention that I would not be driving with MY plates....instead I would be driving with THEIR plates. Furthermore I don't think its ethical that my plates be delivered to them without my permission since this gives them the opportunity to use them without my permission.

Review: I purchased a car from BAYSIDE IMPORTS on November [redacted]. Mercedes benz ML 350. I have 2 complaints against this business.

1st is that they make you purchase a mandatory Auto Theft Protection Program for additional $30 per month. I refused to purchase this however they insisted that I have no other choice and that it's mandatory.

2nd & my biggest issue is that the temporary License Plate they gave me is a STOLEN number plate. They also gave me a FAKE Registration with which I wad driving for over 10 days.

I got pulled over by Police which is when I found out that they gave me a STOLEN number plate and FAKE Temporary registration. THEY ALMOST GOT ME ARRESTED!!

THE PLATE NUMBER THEY GAVE ME IS [redacted].

I am in shock that any business would follow such unethical practices. When I went to complain about it to them all they said was SORRY and they will fire the employee that did this...YA RIGHT!!! YOU MUST BE KIDDING ME!! I demanded an answer and they had none!!Desired Settlement: I would like them to take off the $30 monthly charge for the Auto Theft Protection Program.

I would like for them to compensate me for my suffering by giving a price reduction/Refund.

Review: On 05/**/2015, I went to trade my 2009 Dodge Journey for a Mazda 2011 CX-9 VIN [redacted]. I was asked to deposit $500.00 USD which I did, but was told that my deposit will be refunded after our transaction. The trade-in was completed and I was given the MAZDA. I took the car home and after three weeks, I received a call form [redacted] and he give the phone to another person who told me to return the Mazda and take back my Dodge because the dealership wanted the Mazda back, since a car note was on my Dodge which, I told them about at the time of the trade-in. Anyway, I return the Mazda to avoid problem in June 2015 and took my Dodge. Since I was not the party that cancelled the agreement, I was told by the dealership that I will be refunded with my initial $500 deposit. The dealership requested me to provide my bank account for my refund. which I did. Since the returned of the dealership Mazda in June 2015, I repeatedly call for my refund for over two weeks and each time I am told the manager is not in to process my refund. When I last called the dealership for my refund I was finally told that I will not received my refund because I added mileage to the car when it was traded to me. I feel that I am been robe and taking advantage of by the dealership and request your intervention for my refund. fromDesired Settlement: I have not receive my refund and request your intervention for my refund. I am also protesting the bad business practice by this dealership. I am not responsible for canceling the transaction and did not refuse to return the dealership Mazda and take back my Dodge, therefore, and since the dealership cancelled this transaction, my $500 must be refunded in addition to my returned Dodge.

Review: I financed a BMW 550i back on December 2012, ignorantly signing all forms without the then dealer ([redacted]) providing me with more explanation on the forms. Anyhow, I have now sold this car and reached out to the dealer for over a month requesting to cancel the Extended Service Warranty they ADDED to my loan which was $3500 for 3yrs. After calling and asking to speak with Finance guy [redacted], who avoided taking my call for weeks stated that he needed to look for paperwork. I continued calling the dealer every single day and then he said he cancelled the service warranty which was a lie. He brushed me off, and so I was forced to contact [redacted] directly and confirmed that nothing has been cancelled in addition I discovered that this warranty is not even in [redacted] system and the contract I ignorantly signed does not have specific information noted such as milage, date the car was purchased etc.

This means that although I signed for this service, [redacted] some how never received this form. Anyhow [redacted] has been trying to contact the dealer for weeks and they continue to avoid their calls. These people are CROOKS, be smart and do not do business with them. This whole thing was a nightmare and still is as who knows how many other people have been conned into purchasing cars with them. They have horrible customer service and are very unprofessional.Desired Settlement: I am requesting that I am refunded the cost for the Extended Service Warranty considering that if I did need this service the chances are [redacted] would have denied my claim since there isn't anything in their system which states I paid for this service.
