Poor Quality.. don't use them unless you want to do a lot of fix up work after.
I really wanted to like this place, and Ken the owner (I think). However, unless you are really handy, don't go with them. Also, seemed very expensive (over $7k) for the work they did (or didn't do).
He was fairly responsive, and the creas he used were nice enough, but quality and follow up just wasn't here...

Here are the issues I had in case you do go with them to be aware of:

- Filthy mess left all the time, staples everywhere, nails in the driveway, and sticking out of plywood bent over.
- Cracked wood and gaps in supports.
- Drilled hole through one of my outlets
- No support under one end of plywood, thought it would break when I went up there and stepped on it, it bowed.
- One piece of plywood not even nailed or screwed down
- Gaps and jagged cuts in plywood seems, used black tape to cover them.
- Spackle and other mess on my existing doors, windows, etc left and hard to clean and get off
- Pull down stairway not done correctly, had to cut bottom feet to lay straight.

I reached out to them several times, and they never came to fix the issues I mentioned at any time. I will complete the rest myself, It's easier that way.
Just be careful out there when choosing a contractor.

BayState failed to install a floor in the kitchen area and I needed to hire Home Depot to perform the installation. BayState installed a soffit in the kitchen area not up to specifications which needed to be removed in order for the cabinets to fit and for the kitchen window to line up with the bathroom window and to allow for installation of a backsplash. The work was performed incorrectly by BayState and BayState refused to repair the inferior work unless I paid an additional fee of [redacted] to remove and re-install the kitchen window. BayState failed to finish the electrical project and also broke the lights in the hallway of my house. On September 4, 2012, BayState's Ken [redacted] assured me that he would supply a large crew to finish the kitchen and garage remodeling projects on September 17, 2012. Contrary to [redacted]'s representations, BayState did not appear at my house until September 21, 2012 and he appeared with only one other worker. [redacted] then walked off the job and did not finish the project. In total, with respect to the garage and kitchen remodeling projects, Bay State failed to re-install the kitchen window, provide and install baseboards, provide and install countertops, build a new living room wall and complete the plumbing work. He was extremely satisfied and very reasonable to work with.At a later date Mr [redacted] called me to his home to review a problem in that water collected around his foundation causing ponding. I showed him that his home existed below street level, his lawn sloped towards his home and a large hill in back drained to the foundation. I showed him that there was virtually nowhere to drain the runoff. I found a low spot approximately 150 ft in the back that would allow approximately 1' pitch which in 150' is next to nothing. This figure was obtained by using a transit. I explained that I could not guarantee no ponding, but at least this excavation would allow for some relief of water build up. At the same time Mr [redacted] asked that I construct a walk of pavers along the front and down the left side of his home. I told him that the best way to construct the walk is to excavate 12" down and add compacted crushed stone. Mr [redacted] said he did not want to spend the money for this construction but wanted the pavers placed on grade. The projects were completed and Mr [redacted] was very pleased so much so that Mrs [redacted] on several occasions brought us baked goods and sausage on several occasions. Mr [redacted], in an Email even invited me to his children's recitals. In the above contracts I dealt exclusively with Mr [redacted].On March 10, 2012 and September 19, 2012 contracts were signed for kitchen remodeling. Contract of 3-10-12 #8 states "construct soffit to hide ceiling pipes" which were existing at the time. This soffit was constructed, window installed and sheetrocking, taping and floating were completed. After looking at this for almost three weeks Mrs [redacted] decided she wanted to change this. I pointed this out as part of the specifications to Mr [redacted] and he said he had to listen to his wife, he had no say. Mr [redacted] said he would hire his own plumber to move pipes in a way to please Mrs [redacted], I warned him that any work by him must be to code, inspected and complete before I would come back and Mr [redacted] tore down the soffit and expected me to construct a new. His plumbing took almost two months as I could not work on the job I went to other jobs. There is no mention in any contract that window is to be aligned with bath window above nor any mention of gutter work. Our contract called for us to move existing kitchen cabinets to the new space. We found that the current cabinets were nailed to the wall instead of screwed as is practice. Cabinets could not be reused without damaging. As a sign of good faith I offered to purchase new cabinets if [redacted] were to only pay $1,000.00 of the cost. Mrs [redacted] agreed and picked out a color and style, then as typical with Mrs [redacted] she cancelled three days later saying she wanted her old cabinets.Flooring- I supplied a quality product sample from my wholesaler of which Mrs [redacted] picked one and I ordered. A few days later Mr [redacted] said his wife had ordered flooring from [redacted]. I canceled my order and cautioned about poor quality product from [redacted]. Another delay was incurred as their delivery was late in arriving and only half was delivered. We were there waiting with nothing to do. Mr [redacted] asked that I pick up the balance of the flooring from the trucking company, which I did. The product was defective and after 1 /2 days we were only able to install approximately 30 sq ft. At that point Mr [redacted] said he had installed laminate floor, I too have installed much of the product, and he found that he could not make it lock together as well. I wasted much time withthe product that he supplied.Mr [redacted] at one point announced to me that he was going to Italy for three weeks and wanted the job stopped until he came home, even though Mrs [redacted] was to stay home. This left me without any planed work to start so I lost one week of work before I could schedule another job. Due to [redacted] delays I was forced to pay dumpster rental fees for three months rather than two weeks. Due to [redacted] constant changes, delays, indecision and supply of his defective materials I feel that I am owed $[redacted]Thank you for your review of this complaint, Ken [redacted], presConsumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)I disagree wholly with the business' response with regard to their conduct throughout the kitchen re-modelling and landscaping projects. I deny all allegations made by the business that my conduct led to the business incurring any damages. I request conditionally binding arbitration. Final Business Response I stand by my response

This is an unreliable and untrustworthy contractor. Unsatisfied with his work.
The final inspection from the City of Worcester inspector failed twice due to incomplete
work and defects. Problems created were defined as " small problems" by him.
Miscalculations for the garage's height and its floor caused us to redo whole driveway
with a different slope.
Cracks on the garage's floor.
A leak on the garage's foundation persists even after he claimed to have fixed it.
I would rather hire somebody else more reliable to fix his problems.
