were given by your surveyor in regards to your properties zoningI know that you were excited about having your custom garage built and we were looking forward to working with you in order to get this accomplishedAfter designing your custom garage and submitting the necessary paperwork to the town for your building permit, both you and Baystate Structures were surprised when we were told that the garage could not be built as anticipated as laid out on your property by your surveyorAfter receiving this information, both *** and I looked at your plot plan and property to brainstorm if there was a possible way to build a garage at your property but due to the property layout and tight zoning bylaws, the only way that seemed possible was to attach a one car garage to your house which was not your desireAfter that, a refund was discussed and then put on hold temporarily as a shed was considered as a possible solution to your needsIt was then decided that a shed as well would not fit your needs, so a deposit refund was put in processTypically refunds of this nature take several weeks to process.I personally am the one responsible for processing this and I was gone on vacation most of December and into JanuaryWhen I returned, this was one of the first things I accomplished after I returnedThe refund check went out in Saturdays mailTypically we factor into our contracts $for design and $for preparing and submitting paperwork to town for Building permit, however, the refund check was submitted for $3250, as we took $off each componentAgain, I apologize for the delay in this, I understand this went to longIf you want, I can put a stop payment on the check that is in the mail and hand deliver another check to you todayIf there is anything else I can do to make you happy, I would be glad to talkI am available at ***
