Review: [redacted] of Niemand’s Home Improvements, [redacted] we hired to remodel our family room, recommended and contracted Bayview Kitchens and Baths in [redacted] to build entertainment and home office cabinetry for our home. After reviewing the plans, we gave Bayview Kitchen and Baths a sizable deposit . The plans clearly indicate Niemand’s involvement. We were urged to complete the order and make a 50% deposit on the cabinets to avoid a price increase that [redacted] from Bayview Kitchens and Baths informed us would take place shortly. We gave [redacted] a sizable check on March **, 2013 and the check was presented to the bank for deposit that day. The expected delivery of the cabinets was estimated at 12 to 16 weeks making the latest delivery date July **, 2013. On September [redacted] 2013, nearly 2 months from the date that they were supposed to be completed, we were informed that an “error” had been made with our order and our cabinets would not be ready for an additional 3 weeks. While we were initially irritated, we were becoming suspicious. We demanded that [redacted] give us a signed letter stating an exact delivery date or refund our deposit. At that point he admitted that he was not able to do either. We have given him repeated deadlines and he has failed to meet any of them. On our last attempt to contact him on September **, 2013, his office staff informed us that he would be out of town for the week. The staff person indicated that she new there were serious problems at the company. [redacted] of Niemand’s Home Improvements has continuously evaded inquiries or any responsibility in this matter.Desired Settlement: Walter Board agreed to refund our deposit on September *, 2013 when he verbally acknowledged that he would not be able to deliver the product. He has failed to refund our deposit and has claimed that he does not have the money. We want our deposit refunded

At this time, I have not been contacted by Bayview Kitchens & Baths Inc. regarding complaint ID [redacted]. The owner of the company originally implied that his business was in financial distress and he did not have the ability to refund my deposit. The company's website is still active and has been updated and his storefront is still operating. He has made no attempt to contact me.

Review: We had purchased Woodmode brand kitchen cabinets from Bayview kitchens in March 2012 and have been dealing with [redacted] of the company, [redacted]. When we were ready to receive the cabinets in July of 2012 we were informed by [redacted] that the cabinets were not ordered and would be in in approximately 6 weeks. We finally had the cabinets installed in October 2012 and paid Bayview kitchens in full. There were multiple problems that were related to [redacted], [redacted] of Bayview kitchens, not ordering the correct cabinets. After many, many phone calls between [redacted] and the company that made the cabinets, Woodmode, most problems were corrected in April of 2013. The correct base molding was not received and we are still waiting to receive the molding and have it installed so that our kitchen will finally be completed. The initial installation was ONE YEAR ago. I have stopped to see [redacted] to inquire about the molding at least 8 times and each time told it has been ordered and should be in soon.Desired Settlement: I want my kitchen molding to be installed as I have already paid for this to be completed.
