Mr [redacted] ,I believe that the gas meter was installed mid last week I hope that all of your gas appliances are working satisfactory.I want to thank you for your letter, I was not a where your gas meter had been delayed From when I received your letter, I spoke everyday with our onsite person to ensure that the line was properly shortened, buried and your gas meter was installed I truly would like to apologize for you going without a gas meter for the time you did I am going to have Kelli bring you buy a gift certificate to [redacted] *** Please accept our apologies.Jon [redacted]

[redacted] I have tried to contact you in reference to your outstanding warranty issuesOnce I confirm a date and time with you to come by your house and measure the door hinge locations I will be able to order the door and have it installedIf you agree to this I would like to repaint the entire garage door and trimmers due to not being able to match the color exactlyLast but not least I would like to be able to coincide your schedule with our masonry contractor to come by your house and remove the remaining mortar from your brickIt’s not necessary for you to be there for this to take place and if you are ok with that I can go ahead and schedule this and will let you know the date this will take place.Please give us several dates that you are available for us to come and measure for the door before we order it, we not only need size of door we locations for the hinges and door knob Please indicate if you are agreeable to us repainting the garage door and trimmers Would you like to be there when we work more on your brick?   I just want to add that you Bayway Homes been to our house several times after we contacted you over and over about the job not being finished. It should've never happened. [redacted] Jaramillo needs to work on this issue. Great Kid but his following through with warranty work sucks. He needs to work on that.

I want the following issues resolved....they have been outstanding since Sept 2016. Many phone calls, text msg have gone back n forth with excuse after excuses. they lack professionalism and integrity! Those issues being as followed: *Incorrect paint color around my garage door placed by your workmen when they came out in September. *Replacement door for one of my guest bedrooms…due to your workman installing a faulty door…in several text messages, to emails, to phone calls Brad has given me a plethora of reasons such as: let me research to see if one of our other homes has it and I’ll swap it out to, door is no longer in production, we found one just need to get it shipped to us and then painted…I stopped keeping track or his many reasons. *Power washing the side of my house and surrounding areas…your workers used my hose on the side of the house to clean their paint brushes and it has left behind a white residue. Below my letter to the builder and I have yet to hear back from them Good day….Jon This is a follow-up to my email sent back in July. Unfortunately, some issues still have to been resolved which your Construction Manager Brad [redacted] agreed to take care of. Brad has given me numerous reasons for the delay and unfortunately I no longer believe or trust anything he says. I can’t help wonder if you care or are concerned! Not once have you showed any interest or been apologetic to my experience nor display any eagerness to ensure that I am a happy “Bayway homeowner". I think that I have been patient and reasonable in the things that I am asking to be resolved. Below are some excerpt from your website…I have bolded certain statements that I have found to contradicted my experiences Since 1997, Bayway Homes has built relationships by listening to our customers and maintaining flexibility to accommodate their varied needs. This is clearly a strategy that is working and made Bayway Homes worthy of the 2003, 2004 and 2008 Bay Area Builders Association "Builder of the Year" awards. Bayway Homes Are More Structurally Sound When constructing a home, most builders apply plywood around exterior corners. They use an inferior product, foam board, on exterior walls. At Bayway, we don't use plywood or foam board. Instead, we surround all of our homes with OSB Sheathing, which is proven to be stronger and better at supporting the structure of a home. [redacted] also believes that his staff has a huge impact on the success of the business. He’s proud to say that several of his 22 employees have been dedicated to Bayway for 10 to 15 years. Bayway keeps its employees working hard and passionate about home building by implementing the importance of having fun and loving what they do with memorable team building and training events. In addition to choosing desirable locations and keeping an exceptional team, another reason for Bayway Homes’ success is [redacted]’s philosophy of building quality homes. He chose “Built Better” as the company motto, and his staff practices that philosophy with every home they…. Bayway closed on 54 houses in 2015 and expects to build about 60 houses in 2016. So what can prospective homebuyers expect from Bayway Homes in the next 20 years? Desirable locations, committed team members, solid construction and innovative design, the same elements that have contributed to Bayway’s stability. After all, they are “Built Better. [redacted] noted that his homes are more structurally sound than many others. Attention to detail and application of materials allows… Those statements in bold has not been my experience at all…My house lacks attention to details, your workers do not take pride in their workmanship, Bayway lacks follow-up and are not customer service driven. My house will be 2 years old in August, the cracks in various parts of the house, to the wood flooring which lacks sustainability, to the sealants used around my house are coming undone, to poor painting job, to incorrectly installed windows, the list goes on…one would think that my house is 5 years old or more and that the condition of my house is a result of the wear and tear from the traffic in my house due to my kids, husband or my frequent visitors…NOT the case at all! I am single with a very demanding job that keeps me away from my home. So when I come home I want to enjoy every part of my house because it is my home and I have worked extremely hard for it and have invested a lot of money and time in order to call it my home! However, I am angered every time I come home and find these items still not resolved! Jon…I would appreciate your attention into this matter and making an effort to resolve this as soon as possible.
