B&B Auto Electric Reviews (2)

Review: Hello Revdex.com my name is [redacted] and I have a issue regarding my car and an auto shop called B&B Auto Electric on [redacted] the number is [redacted] and the mechanics name is [redacted] and the owner of the shops name is [redacted]. I took my car to the shop because it had a leak and while I was driving it stopped running on me. Before I took my car to the shop I told him what was going on with it and asked was he able to fix it, and he said get it to the shop. I got my car to his shop January 16, 2014 a day or two later he told me what was wrong with the car and how much it would cost to repair it. Now a week has gone by and he'll tell me my car is ready and when I get there he'll say "oh we found something else wrong". This happened a couple of times, now I'm beginning to think he doesn't know what he's doing. Now he lends me a 1999 Chevy Lumina which it's gas gauge doesn't work, so I didn't know how much gas was in it. The Lumina ran out of gas on me and my kids February 1, 2014 on my way to work on highway 288. That situation is not safe at all and when I tell him about it he laughs like it's funny and says well at least you have a car to get around. Now back to my car I have a 2003 Volvo s40, he's still working on my car and isn't getting anything done. First off he wanted a down payment just to start on my car so I gave him $300 then he wanted more money to purchase the parts but I told him "NO" I will pay him when my car is finished. Towards the end I gave him another $300 for parts so he could get my car done. By now he's had my car for a month and I had put over $200 worth of gas in the Lumina to make sure it always had gas so it wouldn't run out on me and my kids again. To sum it all up he had my car for thirty nine days and I'm not satisfied with how it runs and I still have massive leakage. I have a 3 month warranty but I don't want him to work on my car anymore because it's obvious he doesn't know what he's doing. I want some money back so I can get my car fixed properly I'll pay for him getting my car running again seems like that's all he did right. For the length of time he had my car I should be a happy customer right now because he plenty of time to have fixed it properly, it should be running smooth with no leaks. The total price for the repair was $1600Desired Settlement: I have receipts and pictures of leakage coming from my car after I received it back from the shop. Please give me insight on how to handle this matter.
