Review: I have been scammed for $500.00, which have already been cashed and stolen from me. I responded to an ad posting this man named [redacted] with a false business entity named D&D carpentry, posted on Craigslist for sheds. He claims that he builds sheds and can deliver them and set up at your location for a very cheap. He lives on a 10 or so acre lot out in Kearney MO, which is where he claims he builds these sheds. We went to go meet him out in Kearney and his place had a bunch of left over wood materials all over the place which looked like left overs from things he might have built. He does not have a way of transporting any sheds he claims to make, that I learned after he stole my money. When we met in person with him and his girlfriend [redacted] he asked us for money up front for materials cost and deposit towards building us a 14ftx12ft shed. He took my check I wrote for $500.00 and cashed it the very next day against my account. He wrote up and invoice receipt that outlined the product, labor and materials cost and that we would have it our residence delivered and set up by him on 08/31/13, that never happened, nor did he buy any materials with my money. He won't take my calls, or has blocked my number so I can't get through to talk to him. He and his girlfriend [redacted] seem to be in this scam together she helped him by writing out the invoices for me of what shed we were to get, and of the money they took as down payment for materials. They both have several craigslist ads advertising this building of sheds, it's not true, there are no sheds he builds, he doens't even have one to show. I fell for a scam thinking it sounded like a great deal, since I have been looking around for a shed to have built, and trusted this guy since everything did look like it might be okay to deal with, and it was a scam. This guy and his girlfriend stole my money, and pretty much think they got away with it, I want my money back and nothing to do with these people. Beware if you come in contact with these people.Desired Settlement: I want my money back that this man operating under a false entity and false advertising on craigslist stole from me. I want my full $500.00 dollars that he stole, which was never used to buy any materials for me and never built the product he promised for me.
