Complaint: ***
Good afternoon Ma’am, I am glad you received a response from B&B *** *** *** ***. I tried calling him and contacting him on numerous occasions and he was eitherunavailable or at a meeting every single time. The only person that would help me was the receptionist, ***As Mr*** states, we did sign a contact with B&B Homes which was not fulfilled by B&B homes. On attachment submitted by Mr***,you can see that on Section A it clearly states; plans, including a purchase contract should have been provided by the builder within days of the signed contract. As I stated in my complaint we signed that contract on April 23, 2015. The calculations coincide that days after April 23, 2015, would have landed on June7, 2015. My husband did request a “hold off on any work on plans” when we noticed that Mr*** *** (as mentioned in my complaint) claimed timeafter time that due to the work load, to include the parade of homes, the architect was unavailable or busy with another customer when we wanted to meet with him or request changes to the plan. Mr*** is correct when he states that my husband and I are not professionals in the field of the home building or architecture. I would like to mention that we have both built custom homes with other builders therefor making us experienced buyers. I would like to add that in comparison to other builders, B&B Homes’ customer service has been by far the worst we have dealt with.As per the architect log submitted, it is a self-maintained log therefor making its credibility vulnerable. Mr*** stated in his response that our work schedule conflicted with us meeting to discuss the plans which is nottrue. My husband and my work schedule consist of working hours, Monday through Friday from 8:a.m to 5:pm. We attended every meeting as requested by the B&B on a timely manner. Many of the meetings were repetitious because our plans were never done as we requested in prior meetings. My husband and I went on vacation for one weekPrior to leaving on our vacation we met with and gave Mr*** and explained what changes we wanted completed to the floor planHe clearly stated not to worry and that everything was going to be ready to sign upon our return. The day after we returned from vacation we called Mr*** and requested to meet with Mr*** to view what we assumed would be the finished floor plan as he had previously stated. To our surprise, nothing we requested had been completed In lamest terms, the floor plan was not touched and everything was exactly the sameWe sent out a certified letter through the United States Postal Service requesting a full refund on June 25, to an address that B&B had listed on the internet (*** *** ***, *** TX). After tracking the letter I called *** and asked her if she received the letter. She stated that address was no longer a valid address and that she needed to update the website where I obtained the information. At this point, I sent another letter to the P.OBox number that *** had provided. After two weeks, I called *** to see if she had received the certified letter and stated that she hadn’t checked the mail. One week later, I called *** and inquired about the later and she claimed it was never received. I called the post office and was told the letter was in the P.OBox number that *** had provided and no one had claimed it. The post office stated that the certified letters have to be claimed and that they could not force anyoneto claim the letter, much less take itAfter going back and forth with *** and after I submitted this complaint, ***, from sales, contacted me to inquire why we had opted to end our business with B&B homes. I explained everything that we had experienced with Mr***. *** was very professional and understanding. She heard our concerns and understood where I was coming from as a client. I told her that I understood that the architect had worked on our plans but that nothing that was promised by Mr.*** was provided. She stated she would look into our case and see what she could do. After that conversation, we received $2,out of the $3,wehad given as deposit. I want to thank *** for taking the time and allowing us to voice our concernI am sure that without her help we would be attempting to solve this matter through small claims court. It is dejected how Mr***, as a general manager, never took the time to listen to a customer’s concern or complaint. Please close the caseI no longer want to hear nor deal with B&B Homes in any manner whatsoever. Please see attachmentLastly, I do NOT give consent for my information including but not limited to bank account and cell phone number that were provided byB&B Homes to be of public access.Thank you,*** ***

Good afternoon *** *** We received the complaint from your office that was filed by Ms*** *** (ID ***)We're very sorry that Ms*** has felt the need to file a complaintHowever, attached you will find B&B Home's lot deposit agreement signed by Ms*** (see

We did not keep the $1,dollars that Ms*** claims we kept in her complaintThus, B&B kept $500, not the $1,she claimsOur company stands by keeping a minimum of $due to the time our in-house architect spent on the plansAs to my understanding, Ms***, nor her husband are professionals in the field of home building or architecture so I doubt they understand how much time and resources are used when creating "drawings" (See Attachment 3)Attached you will find a log our in-house architect keeps when working on each individual project"***" signifies their address (*** *** ***) and you will see the dates he worked on their plansOne can see many hours were spent on their drawings (see Attachment 4)Ms*** failed to mention in her complaint that her husband requested to "hold off on any work on the plans," on Monday June 22, per a text conversation he had with me (See Attachment 5)She mentions her requests for foundation and roof plans, however, if one reads our lot agreement carefully, it clearly states that the $1,is for design fees that DO NOT include roof or foundation plans, which would be provided once the client signed the official contract to begin constructionIn addition, the client's work schedule conflicted with our meetings AND the couple's vacation further deterred our plansThey failed to mention that in her complaintFurthermore, their complaint about our in-house architect's insufficient amount of attention to their plans, can be further backed by our lot deposit agreement, where it makes NO mention of them meeting with *** in the initial phases of planningOnce clients sign official contracts, then they meet with *** twiceSo, they were actually given more attention than most clientsWe would like to mention that the date of the Revdex.com letter says Monday, August 10, However, we did not receive the letter until Friday, September, We are responding within the days mentioned in your letterWe take this matter very seriously and hope that we've provided enough information to have the dispute resolved and removed from the websiteIf it cannot be removed from the website I formally request that our response be posted on the website tooJust as she has a right to file a complaint, we have a right to make known our side of the story as wellWe will be contacting you to discuss the conclusion of this matterThank you for your time.*** ***B&B General Manager

Good afternoon [redacted]
rgb(18, 7, 22); letter-spacing: 0.4pt; font-family: Verdana;">We received the complaint from your office that was filed by Ms. [redacted] (ID [redacted]). We're very sorry that Ms. [redacted] has felt the need to file a complaint. However, attached you will find B&B Home's lot deposit agreement signed by Ms. [redacted] (see Attachment 1). In the lot deposit agreement you will find that the $1,000 fee for the drawing of house plans was agreed upon by both parties. Even though the $1,000 were agreed upon, B&B Homes decided to refund $2,500 of the total $3,000 that were given by Ms. [redacted] (See Attachment 2). We did not keep the $1,000 dollars that Ms. [redacted] claims we kept in her complaint. Thus, B&B kept $500, not the $1,000 she claims. Our company stands by keeping a minimum of $500 due to the time our in-house architect spent on the plans. As to my understanding, Ms. [redacted], nor her husband are professionals in the field of home building or architecture so I doubt they understand how much time and resources are used when creating "drawings" (See Attachment 3). Attached you will find a log our in-house architect keeps when working on each individual project. "[redacted]" signifies their address ([redacted]) and you will see the dates he worked on their plans. One can see many hours were spent on their drawings (see Attachment 4). Ms. [redacted] failed to mention in her complaint that her husband requested to "hold off on any work on the plans," on Monday June 22, per a text conversation he had with me (See Attachment 5). She mentions her requests for foundation and roof plans, however, if one reads our lot agreement carefully, it clearly states that the $1,000 is for design fees that DO NOT include roof or foundation plans, which would be provided once the client signed the official contract to begin construction. In addition, the client's work schedule conflicted with our meetings AND the couple's vacation further deterred our plans. They failed to mention that in her complaint. Furthermore, their complaint about our in-house architect's insufficient amount of attention to their plans, can be further backed by our lot deposit agreement, where it makes NO mention of them meeting with [redacted] in the initial phases of planning. Once clients sign official contracts, then they meet with [redacted] twice. So, they were actually given more attention than most clients. We would like to mention that the date of the Revdex.com letter says Monday, August 10, 2015. However, we did not receive the letter until Friday, September, 4. We are responding within the 10 days mentioned in your letter. We take this matter very seriously and hope that we've provided enough information to have the dispute resolved and removed from the website. If it cannot be removed from the website I formally request that our response be posted on the website too. Just as she has a right to file a complaint, we have a right to make known our side of the story as well. We will be contacting you to discuss the conclusion of this matter. Thank you for your time.
