B&B Iron & Metal

B&B Iron & Metal offers a metal recycling service. They deliver a metal bin to your location and when you call them they come and pickup the bin of scrap metal. We had a bin delivered to us, filled it up and called for pickup. B&B in the past (over 4+ years) has delivered the payment for the scrap metal to us by having a driver deliver an envelope containing cash.
We notified B&B of our need to have their bin picked up as we were moving our shop. The address was given to the lady on the phone to dispatch a truck to pickup the bin. The driver showed up to pickup the bin and our 5,000lb forklift would not pickup the bin so we borrowed the neighbors 10,000lb forklift and loaded the bin on B&B's truck. The driver commented the bin was heavy and his old truck was creaking taking our bin and another to B&B's yard on Jensen. This was in November 2019.
We had not received the money for the scrap by the end of the 1st week in December 2019. WE called B&B and got nothing but the run around, and promise to get the money to us. By the 3rd week of December we had not received the money and again called B&B only to be told that they had mailed a check. So we waited until the first week of Jan 2020 and called again, this time being told B&B had mailed a check to us at our address of over 4 years ago. We were told to call back in a week so they could check the bank and make sure it was not cashed. We called back and again got the run around and they said they mailed a check. I personally called and talked with the lady in the office and was told their records showed us at our over 4 year old address, to which I replied I don't understand how when you delivered the bin to us at the correct address and then picked it up at the correct address and when we told you to pick it up we were moving and gave you our new address - silence. Then I said they had always had a driver stop by and give us an envelope with cash, and she replied oh no they had us down as always getting a check. No money 2-4-2020.
