Review: I had a car that was suppose to be repossessed. The car is a Malibu 2010. Well I purchased a Malibu 2012 looks similiar to the one I had. I went to work on Mon. Feb. 18, 13 gotten off came home took shower ready for bed to go to work in the morning. Well when my Fiancee woke up he discovered the car we drive was gone. I have Onstar on my 2012 Malibu I called them and they just stated that the car was repossessed. It was the wrong car to be possessed. They Repo Man [redacted]. with B&B Recovery location 1380 W. Broad Street Columbus, Ohio 43222. They should have checked the VIN number instead of going by tagson car. I transfered my tags over on 1/5/2013 to my new care with the BMV. I had to find someone to take my fiancee to work and then I couldn't get to work for Franklin County until 11 am. Please the next time you repo a car make sure you check the VIN number in the car. I would not want to see anyone go through this horrible stiuation. Desired Settlement: I would like to be compensated my 2 hours and 30 minutes of work I had to miss from them taking the wrong car plus I had to give gas money for my fiancee a ride to work. $150.00 for hours I missed at work until my car was returned to my address 2450 [redacted] Avenue. I even called the Columbus Police Department at ###-###-#### the Repo Department and they tried hard to help but only had limited information. Then I had to contact the actual comany who hire them [redacted]

My company did a vehicle tag lookup with the Ohio BMV and found that the tag on the car in question was registered to a 2010 Chevy Malibu. Mrs [redacted] had transfered her tag to her 2012 Malibu and both cars are silver and look alike. . After speaking with the Ohio BMV the first question they ask is if you no longer have the vehicle that the tag was registered too. This was an illegal transfer and the tag was not to be on her new car. I have reported this to the Ohio BMV as you can not transfer a tag unless you no longer have the previous vehicle in your name. If Mrs [redacted] would have followed the laws in Ohio this problem would not have happened.
