How dare you as a "health care provider"! Where is the "CARE" in health care? Dead on the inside like the woman I spoke with at B&B
I hope you appreciate how difficult it was to keep this review PG.
It's also BS that the company's review system forces me "to fill review rating" I can't leave it at zero stars. Have some guts and let people leave their real reviews
These out-of-network people are called in by your in network doctor after you have been sedatedMonths later you receive a bill for thousands of dollars and they are more than helpful for you to file a claim with your insurance company which was denied by UHC and the appeal failedThen they offer you a resolution of $to resolve the bill or else it goes to collections This is a VERY common practice and you are unconscious so you don't even know it is happening
I had the exact same experience as previous reviewer I had no input as to who was being brought in to assist my surgeon My surgeon went through the proper approval, why didn't B & B? I was under, where was my voice? I had the collection company call me just as the other reviewer did I didn't settle because I believed my insurance would finally realize I had no choice as to who was in the room Unfortunately, they got exactly what they billed since there is no way to fight their unscrupulous billing tactics

Review: I had a C-section on October 11, 2013 at Banner Estrella Medical Center. The hospital and OBGYN were both covered under my [redacted] health insurance, that is why I chose them. A few weeks after my surgery I received a bill from B B Surgical assist for $2,814! I never asked for this surgical assistant to be there, nor did I know that he would be/didn't accept my health insurance. I should not be held responsible for a payment to a surgical assistant that I never requested medical care from. I chose my medical providers based on the acceptance of my [redacted] plan. They were not satisfied with the payment from my insurance provider and want me to pay the remaining balance ($2,814) .Desired Settlement: B B Surgical needs to absorb the $2,814 debt seeing that I never requested these services. They also need to remove this debt from collections immediately!!!
Review: I had surgery in November and unknown to me there was a 'surgical assistant'. I had no knowledge that he was going to be there and evidently my insurance was not informed either because his 'bill' did not arrive until February, long after my other bills had been taken care of. After an appeal a lesser amount was paid by my insurance company and I was informed by them that there was a 0 pt. balance. I told B & B this but was told that I still owed over $200 to meet their minimum. If my insurance says there is a 0 pt. balance then why do I owe them more? I feel that they are trying to get more money for a bill already paid. When I told [redacted] (the office manager) to call the insurance company she told me she had and that I still owed this money. Something isn't right about all this.Desired Settlement: Amount paid by my insurance company and a 0 balance.
Review: This company has been trying to bill for services that I never agreed upon. I had a surgical procedure and it was pre-approved by my health insurance before hand. They are trying to say that I owe them a bill from a service that they proveded and I had never even heard of them untill after my surgery. Then they send the bill to a collection agency and has reported it to the credit bureau. This is also a violation of HIPPA.Desired Settlement: I want the bill to be taken care of and have it taken off of my credit rating.
Review: On 08/08/15 [redacted] of B&B Surgical attended my Emergency Cesarean Section. As stated, this was an emergency and I did not have control over who attended or billed. I was pre-registered with [redacted] and my Doctor was also in Network. I chose these providers based off of the fact that they would be considered in-network to alleviate the headache and financial burden of out-of-network expenses. To my dismay, I received a bill in November from B&B Surgical who apparently was out-of-network. After speaking to them they advised me to contact [redacted] AZ to which I did. [redacted] AZ resolved this by making an exception and including them in-network as I had no control over the situation. B&B Surgical was compensated at the rate provided on my [redacted]. I have a high-deductible insurance and had already hit my in-network maximum. B&B Surgical has refused to accept my insurances [redacted] as payment in full claiming I owe them over $2k but they will "reduce it down" to $325.18. This is just unacceptable. They have been paid. I did not request someone out of network to attend the birth or this hassle to resolve.Desired Settlement: Please accept the [redacted] provided by my insurance company [redacted] AZ as payment in full and quit threatening to take me to collections over something I had no control over.
