Review: I had taken my car to have the brakes & tires checked at [redacted]. I was given an estimate,I then took it to B&B Tire and had another estimate done , had them do the work and told repairs were done. The owner was being kind to me and allowed me to make payments because of the large amount of work needed. On my way home I noticed the brakes were still not working properly. I called the shop they said it may be a temporary adjustment, air in the line and to drive it around and if the trouble persisted to bring it back in. I drove it and there was still trouble so I took it back and had another large bill for work done. This time when driving home I was even more disatisfied with the brakes. I took the car the next day to a different shop ("[redacted]" who I had been to previously)They showed me that work that B&B had charged me for..and told me had been done, actually had not been completed, or was only done partially. I have obtained all bills due for B&B and will contact a lawyer to have monies I have paid returned to me. They left me with a vehicle that was unsafe to drive, and overcharged me for work that was never completed.Desired Settlement: I would like the money that I have paid returned. I still owe them for work that was not completed, and do not feel I should have to pay it. I would be happy to pay for services that were actually done and done properly.

Response:
This letter is in response to the claim # [redacted], filed by [redacted]
on 05/14/2013. On 12/14/12 Ms. [redacted] brought her 2006 Pontiac G6 in for repair
on her brake system. Per her authorization, all estimated repairs were completed, and
completed correctly .
Nothing was heard from Ms. [redacted] until 02/20/13
(appoximately 68 days later). She then placed a phone call to B&B Tire Inc. stating
that she felt that there was an issue with the brakes on her automobile. Ms. [redacted]
brought her automobile to B&B Tire Inc., on the evening of 02/20/13. Upon inspection
by B&B Tire Inc., the automobile was found to have another brake system issue nonrelated
to the previous repairs. Per her authorization, these estimated repairs were also
completed, and completed correctly. Furthermore the repairs completed carry a 24month
/24,000 mile warranty.
Ms. [redacted] then placed a phone call to B&B Tire Inc. approximately two weeks later
stating a concern that there was still an issue with her automobiles brake system. B&B
Tire Inc. advised Ms. [redacted] to bring her vehicle in for proper inspection, she agreed,
and set up an appointment. Ms. [redacted] failed to show up for her scheduled
appointment for inspection of the vehicle. Many more attempts were made by B&B Tire
Inc. to reach out to Ms. [redacted] to secure and appointment for inspection of her
vehicles brake system. There were two more scheduled appointments made by
Ms. [redacted], both of which she failed to show.
Both of the previous repairs on Ms. [redacted]s vehicle were done on an in-house
charge system, meaning that she had 30 days to pay the due balance in full. After all of
the failed attempts to communicate with Ms. [redacted], B&B Tire started sending her
a monthly statement. It was after this point in time, that Ms. [redacted] declared that she had
taken her vehicle to another automobile repair facility of whom told her that the previous
repairs made by B&B Tire Inc. were done improperly. B&B Tire Inc. made every attempt
possible to reach out to Ms. [redacted], she missed several scheduled appointments, yet had
the ability to take her vehicle to another automobile facility, this of which voided her warranty.
B&B Tire Inc. has made several attempts to collect the debt owed by Ms. [redacted], and will
continue doing so through which ever channel necessary. Her balance due is $640.60
Sincerely,
[redacted] Vice President of B&B Tire Inc.
