BBA Reman took care of everything and replaced the unitContrary to information from BBA and *** dealership the module worked without having to be paired to the ECU as wellEverything is taken care of

At this time, BBA Reman is going to supply the customer with a used refurbished replacement module However, there is nothing that BBA Reman does that would cause a unit to catch on fire and fire damage is not covered under warranty as stated in our terms and conditions The replacement
module should arrive to the consumer within 5-daysIf the replacement suffers the same fate that the first one did, BBA Reman assumes no responsibility for whatever is causing the fault in the car and will not cover the cost of a replacement or any other damages in the vehicle due to improper use

I have spoken to the customer and BBA has agreed to supply a replacement ABS pump and module to the customer at no additional charge The customer is aware that the unit will need to be programmed to the vehicle and any charges incurred in doing so are the sole responsibility of the consumer
The replacement unit is a used, remanufactured unit and comes with our limited lifetime warranty

I called [redacted] this morning but did not get an answer.  The customer claims that only the speedometer gauge was not working when he sent it in, however, the fault information the customer provided in writing when he sent the item in states "speedo inop, tach gets stuck and missing pixels in...

display"  Upon initial investigation by the tech, BBA confirmed that someone else had been inside this instrument cluster prior to the customer sending it in for repair. On a recorded phone call, this information about the unit being worked on previously, was portrayed to the customer and it was stated that we can try to fix it and that it would require 3 new motors at $50 each IF we were able to fix the cluster.  After the customer gave approval, the technician began to disassemble the cluster to find that the previous "repair" had damaged multiple components on the board and that they had soldered all the motors to the board, this ruin the contacts at the PCB, deeming the unit non-repairable.  The customers cluster was shipped back and he has been refunded for the repair service he paid to us on eBay.  BBA assumes no responsibility for any repairs attempted to the unit prior to sending it in for repair and in this case the prior "repairs" have caused irreversible damage.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does satisfy my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint #[redacted]. I understand that by choosing to accept the business response that my complaint will be closed as resolved. I see that business keep blaming me for there mistakes and at this point I am satisfied that at least Revdex.com know that I am not only victim and thath there is over 50 customers which bought same service from them and all of us alegedly tamper with cluster and then sent it to them just to blame them which is not realy what happened but after reviewing all my options its the best to forget it all I already bougt new cluster and have it programed it cost me just about 400$ so its not worthted all this mess. All I want from them is to actualy apologize for what they did and I know its not while BBA it must be some inexpirienced tech which doesnt want to admit that he dont know what he is dooing.Asfar as I am concerned its all over but there might be some more unhappy customers and I am not sure what they gona do about them.

BBA reman emailed the mechanic a shipping label on 3/2/2015, however as the tracking information shows attached, the mechanic failed to drop the item off with UPS until 3/12/2015, and BBA received the item on 3/16/2015.  The unit was tested, repaired and then tested again before shipping the...

item back the same day.  The mechanic then received the item on 3/18/2015 as the tracking info shows.  The delay was in no part BBA's fault, but rather a delay caused by the mechanic. As far as compensation for the other issues in the car, BBA is in no way responsible or liable for faulty or damaged wiring in the vehicle due to the mechanics inability to properly diagnose or repair the automobile. The unit that was sent to BBA was tested and passed all testing before it was shipped back to the mechanic.  03/16/2015 1:23:43 PM TESTED REPAIREDFAULT: [redacted]REPAIR: replaced the CAN reciever and the EEPROmTEST: tested normally ----Added By :[redacted]The repairs that BBA completed would in no way cause any issues with the wiring in the vehicle.Any email from the mechanic stated that he admitted he didn't have the right tools for the job and that he was taking too long and didn't have time to send it back to BBA under warranty for a second look.1:44:50 PM when I got it back it would just start then die so I figured that it just needed programed to recognize the key so I towed it to the dealer and they put there scan tool on to program and the bcm is still bad I watched them do it and seen the problem I just didn't have the equipment myself so I am wondering about a refund because it's a customer car and they are freaking out because I'm taking to long and I won't have time to send it back to you please let me know asap
