Review: In March 2013, [redacted] ([redacted]) [redacted] with BBL Plumbing & Heating was hired to change a broken hot water boiler in our basement. This job cost over three thousand dollars. He got paid in full with cash, but did not complete the job: He did not take away the broken hot water boiler, just left it outside of our garage door, he also did not repair the leaking pipes next to hot water boiler. All were part of this job. He told us he would come back later to complete it. Around the same time, he gave us an estimate for a 2nd job for replacing some water pipes in the basement. He took $700 dollars as down payment to buy materials, but never delivered any material, and never did anything with the 2nd job. We have been calling him since mid March trying to get him to finish the work. In the beginning, he would take the call and made appointments to come to our house, but never showed up. Then he began to make excuses like he had family emergency, and he got in a car accident so he could not come for a while. Now he would not take our calls nor return our calls after we repeatedly left messages.Desired Settlement: We would like to get our $700 down payment back for the 2nd job which he did nothing for, as well as $300 back for incompletion of the first job, this is the amount other company would charge us in order to complete the work he left behind.
