The company advertised a trial offer, for the price of shipping, to send a sample of two skin care products, which I received. They did not disclose that this would lead to them charging my credit card for an additional $85.95 and $89.95 (the trial offers were billed earlier). The charges appeared under two separate company names: Bbm*Eyegleam 8889082980 Ca and Dtg*Skinenliven 888-5103078 Nv. When I called Bbm*Eyegleam they told me I ought to have read the fine print in my agreement which said I could cancel within 2 weeks (there was no such fine print - I called in response to a direct TV ad and my order was taken over the phone, so there was nothing to read, and no one made me aware of any fine print terms over the phone - in response to this they said I should have asked). Their representative, Foy or Froy, refused to refund my money. After a long debate he offered 50% off, which I declined. They then told me they would continue to bill me monthly amounts if I worked through my credit card company to resolve the dispute. I am now working with my credit card company but I want to report these scam artists in hopes that you can warn others and go after them.
Thank you, I only got billed once. But, I too was scammed by the same company. I wasn't told about the two week agreement either. When you tell them that you are calling in a trial offer, they should remain you. But, that's how CDthey make the extra thousands off the innocent if others. Eyegleam did not mention anything about a recurring order in any of their print which I read carefully. How do I cancel my orders?
