May 11, 2016Dear ***This letter is in reference to your phone call on May 2, 2016, questioning your invoice for the work we performed on April 26, 2016.Rick had given you an installed price of $You had indicated during your phone call to us that you had called [redacted] and was given a price of $for the same pump we installedYou had been given a wholesale price which was well below the price our supplier charged usI passed this information on to our supplierThey are looking into why [redacted] would quote a wholesale price to the publicYou also mentioned [redacted] (on line) to which we explained we do not purchase online because we have no immediate recourse if the pump failsAll our products are sold at list price so that is factored in when we give installed pricesThe installed price also includes the float/alarm since that is sold separately and other parts needed to install the pump.Rick had called the office about the electric to the pump the first trip out to your house, I had suggested to Rick to have you call an electricianThey are the experts with electrical problems and can diagnose & repair faster that we canWe even suggested to them to move (re-wire) the float to a better location, You had told the office they charged you $100,Since we charge $95.00/hour it was definitely more cost effective for the electrician to make the necessary repairs so we could continue our work.Since we value you as our customer, I would like to offer you a $in house credit good towards your next service callJust present this letter to the plumberIf you have any questions, please let me know.Sincerely,William B./Owner

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the responseIf no reason is received your complaint will be closed as Answered] Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response becauseI will cover each item in order to get my point across to B B PlumbingFirst , He said in his response Revdex.com that the $charge was a flat rateQuestion, then why I am I having to pay for an electrician.Second, He said why did it take me so long to respond, simple, my job takes me out of town for up to days at a time, plus we had vacation as wellWhat is your excuse?Third, The credit they mentioned was only offered AFTER I started the complaint.Fourth, The lady I talked to on the phone said that who ever was on vacation but she would leave a message and they would get back to meNo response.Fifth, They talked of the effluent pump costIf you can get it at a lower cost then why are you charging so much?My ultimate goal is to prevent some poor guy from having to deal with this sub-standard operation but the pay back for the electricians fee would be niceOne more thing before I bring this to a close, B B Plumbing really should start using email more if the phone is an issue but I tried that as well with no response Regards, [redacted] ***
