This issue has already been resolved prior to the date of this letter, 8-20-14.
On 8-18-14, I made a second trip to the project and made the necessary adjustments to the gate
The gates have taken some abuse by the lawn mowing crews who take
equipment in and out of
the gate. I adjusted the gates into proper working specifications. Minor adjustments to the
latches was the only solution necessary.
I visited the site yesterday, 9-16-14, to inspect the condition of the gates. They are still
in perfect working condition, with no problems, or difficulties. I spoke to *** *** about the gates
She obviously was not aware of the prior adjustments that have been made
Thank you,

Review: Hired [redacted] to install wrought iron fence at my residence, on 12-5-2013. Contract provided for 1-year warranty on the fence. Fence was installed on January 27-28, 2014. I paid [redacted] on January 28, 2014, with check #1119. Around February or March 2014 time frame, I noticed the gate would not close properly. It "hung up" when closing and did not latch properly. I contacted [redacted] on the telephone. A couple of weeks later [redacted] (or one of his employees) came to my house and worked on the gate. I was not home at that time, but knew someone had worked on the gate, because there were scratch marks on the gate latch, the fence and on the bolts. That is how I knew [redacted]'s company had been there that day to work on my fence. Unfortunately, they did not correct the problem and the gate was still not working properly. In fact, what they did caused it to be worse. The gate is completely out of alignment and you cannot open or close it without a great source of strength being applied. Upon seeing this, I immediately started calling [redacted] and leaving voice messages. This would have been back in the February or March 2014 time frame. I left numerous voice messages for [redacted], to please contact me about the unusable gate. To date, he has never returned any of my phone calls. Then I sent him an email, on August 17, 2014. My email advised him that if I did not hear from him, I would be forced to take action against him to resolve this matter. Again, [redacted] has chosen not to contact me. I paid [redacted] $3513.00 for the fence. I signed a contract with [redacted] ensuring me that the fence would be under a one year warranty. The warranty is of no value, if [redacted] does not uphold the contract. At this point, [redacted] has blatantly breached our contract. Therefore, I need your assistance to see if we can resolve the matter, before seeking legal assistance. Can you please help me?Desired Settlement: Since the fence post is so completely out of alignment, I want the gate and fence posts removed and reinstalled. I want the fence to work properly and to my liking. I paid for a warranty and expect [redacted] to honor that warranty.
