Mr [redacted] initially contacted us requesting his taxes to be done. We provided & completed services as he requested. After his tax return was completed & faxed, he requested a quarterly report, which has a separate cost and requires bank...

His tax return was submitted via fax as per his request. We faxed it as a last resort, because Mr [redacted] would not pay for services. We do not  submit completed work, unless services are paid in full. 
 
I have spoken to Mr [redacted], we communicated beyond means to help him because we were well aware that he had a deadline to meet. The office secretary even gave him her cell number to ensure that documents were received in a timely manner. 
 
Mr [redacted] confirmed that all forms were received. A day later he contacted us asking for a quarterly report. We advised him that he had not paid for that service and that there would be an additional cost for it.  
 
At no time did Mr [redacted] have trouble contacting us, as I mentioned,  the secretary had given him her cell number, which he contacted her by numerous times.

I am rejecting this response because:
On May
27, 2014, I forwarded my income tax documents for 2103 of the four accounts and
the Expense Report from January – May, 2014 to [redacted] for her to
prepare.  She did not respond to my email nor was there no answered at the
business office.  
 
I called every day several times throughout the day to
their office until finally the secretary answered the phone which by then was
the following week.  She advise me that Ms. [redacted] had had surgery and
had been out for a while, but that she was coming in the afternoon and was
going to check her emails and start working on the documents.  She said
that Ms. [redacted] would call me if she had any questions.  Not once did
Ms. [redacted] call nor was I able to talk to her at any point in time during
the duration of the emails and numerous phone calls to their business office.
 
Several days and weeks went by no response either thru
emails or phone calls from Ms. [redacted], only her secretary was the only
person of contact.
On June 2, 2014 I sent another email to Ms. [redacted],
letting her know that I had urgency in getting my income tax done due to an
appointment I had, again no response or phone call on her part.
 
On June 4, 2014 I sent another
email asking Ms. [redacted] to please read my emails regarding questions I had
about the Income Tax Return and the Expense Report for January 1, 2014 -
May 31, 2014.  She again would not respond to my emails nor could I talk
to her over the phone. 
 
The
only person that I was able to have contact with was Ms. [redacted] her secretary
and the only information she would provide was that she was not in or that she
was very busy and could not come to the phone. 
 
After no response from Ms. [redacted], I forwarded the
Expense Report Summary 2014, to her on June 10, 2014 again, but no response on
her part.
 
By Jun 11, 2014, she had
supposedly completed the Income Tax Return documents and the Expense Report,
and the charge for the service was $1500.00, but I negotiated the price and Ms.
[redacted] said that Ms. [redacted] said that she would include the 2014 tax returns
and the financial statements as well and the total charge would be only be
$1250.00, but that I  had to federal- Ex overnight a money order in the
amount of $1250.00 payable to Professional Services of Laredo and upon on
receiving the money she would email the documents.  Note:  In
previous years she only charged $700.00 to $750.00 for returns.
 
On
June 13, 2014, I called Ms. [redacted] at Professional Services of Laredo to find
out if she had received the money and she said yes, but that the system was
down and she was not able to email them, but would try to fax them.  I
advised her that I had urgency in getting the documents.
 
Ms.
[redacted] tried several attempts of faxing said documents that afternoon, but she
was not able to send all the tax return documents.  The only documents, I
received were the same documents that I had originally sent her to prepare the
income taxes of 2013, and she only faxed one of the accounts which was for the
[redacted], but I did not receive the return for [redacted] and
the [redacted]. 
 
She
never faxed the other income tax returns nor did she fax the Expense Report
that I needed.  Subsequently, she was not able to fax them, I advised
[redacted] to email them to my email ASAP and to please call me. She called me that
afternoon and said that she would try again the next morning to fax them or to
try to email them, but neither method was accomplished.  That is why I had
her cell phone number a form of contact since I could not speak with Ms.
[redacted] nor do I know what she looks like.
 
I did
pay for the service in the amount of $1250.00, which she Ms. [redacted] her
secretary had stated earlier that would be the charge.  I have proof of
the money order and the documents that were faxed that day if you need them.
 
I never spoke with Ms. [redacted], the only person that I
was in contact with was Ms. [redacted] and the only method of contact was over the
phone. No emails from either one of them was exchanged.  Ms. [redacted]
never responded my emails and she never attempt to solve the problem.  The
only reason why I was able to get Ms. [redacted]’s cell phone number was because she
had originally called me from her cell phone and since I could never speak with
Ms. [redacted] I kept her cell number.  As a result, I had to hire another
accountant to prepare my income tax returns and expense report which was
another added expense.
 
She did not prepare the return for [redacted], 2013, [redacted], 2013, [redacted], 2013 and the Expense Report for January – May,
2014.  I would not have had to hire another accountant for no reason under
such short notice to prepare the taxes if she had originally prepared as she
states in the complaint.
 
After reviewing at the [redacted] account return they were
incorrect and were redone by the other accountant.  I specially gave her a
deadline to complete the four business accounts however I never received a
response from her.
 
Please let me know at your earliest convenience since I
have urgency in getting my money refunded in full as soon as possible.
