Took my yr old [redacted] in about one month ago for repairFound price more reasonable than others for the same service(He works from his home so I guess less overheadAnyway he fixed itTook it home and found one issue with it stillsoe returned it and the issue was fixed with no further chargesMohammed seems to know his stuff about watches

I was very satisfied with the work done at BC Watch RepairI had two antique pocket watches repaired in only a few days and at a reasonable priceI definitely recommend their service

I went to get my watch's pin replaced, after it fell out upon an accidental arm on arm collision BC Watch Repair replaced the pin with a stronger one, and they were very kind and personable

Friendly, knowledgeable serviceExcellent experience overall, would recommend to family and friends

The business owner was extremely nice and friendlyHe's a quick worker and he really knows his stuff about watchesI definitely recommend checking this place out!

I would highly recommend using this company for any watch repairHe is knowledgeable and knows everything there is to know about watchesThey are very professional and passionate about watches

In cleaning out my Father's house I came across a variety of watches and pocket watches I made an appointment and brought these watches and one I had inherited from my grandmother The owner was very competent and kind as he let me film him as he took things apart and gave a brief history and estimate for repair We found that all but one were from the 19th C and obviously had been important to the family
I came back in May with the pocket watches and one Omega that was my grandfathers The repair bill was exactly as he had indicated The gold railway pocket watch and woman's pink gold hunter watch are especially valuable and the family is thrilled to have them working, even if they don't wear them They have a year's warranty
My best experience was that I brought the antique clock I inherited He was so excited to see a clock of this age - 17thC and said he would restore it to museum quality, which he did He cleaned, polished, repaired and replaced a missing piece of wood I had not realized how valuable it was as it had been hanging around for many years collecting dust I now display it proudly and working

This may be a home business but I received the best customer service I've ever had. I was absolutely impressed by Mohamed's honesty concerning his knowledge of watches. He is truly passionate and committed to what he does.

I own a Citizen watch and had it for a year. I'm not knowledgeable at all when it comes to watches so I thought my watch needed a new leather strap. It was starting to smell and the watch loop holes were coming off as well as another leather part near the face of the watch. Since I live close to Oakridge, I decided to stop by the [redacted] and went to the watch replacement service counter. The person who was working there that day was an older man. When I told him that I wanted to get a new strap for my watch, he barely looked at (or even examined) my watch and gave me a display of leather straps to choose from. It seemed like he wanted me to make a decision on the spot and did not seem friendly. I saw this leather strap that looked exactly like mine but Hirsch was the brand and it cost $80 for it. Since I was running tight on time, I asked him if I could take a picture of the leather straps and come back another time to make a decision on it. When I said that, he said "no" without looking at me and quickly put those straps back on the small spinning display rack. Okay, let's just say that most of the times when I pass by that service counter during after dinner time, I usually do not see anyone working there. So basically, anyone can just take a picture of the leather straps on the display rack since it seems to be accessible for anyone to take a look at.

After having that terrible experience at the [redacted], I read online reviews and decided to go to BC Watch Repair on great Google and Yelp reviews. My overall experience there? While the worker there at the [redacted] was exceptionally bad, Mohamed was exceptionally honest in what he said and I was extremely impressed. When I asked if he does watch strap replacements, he took a look at my watch, examined it carefully, and said it looks perfectly fine. I was shocked when he said that because I thought it needed a new strap. He asked me how long I've had it and also why I would need a new strap. I told him that the leather is starting to smell and the watch band loops were falling off. Also, the watch itself was a bit loose and I figured that was the leather was expanding. He told me that my watch strap can last for a few more years and what it actually needs is a cleaning every once in a while. Other than that, he kept examining it and said it looked fine. Since my watch is a Citizen brand, he mentioned that it is best to maintain the original parts of the watch (such as the watch strap) if I were to resell it in the future. He said he can give the strap a cleaning by conditioning it. As for the band loops that were falling off, he said that he can replace them with new ones. In addition, he helped me glue this part of the leather strap that was coming off as well as inserting another adjustment hole on the strap to make it tighter. I'm so glad that I did not pay more than $80 at the [redacted] for a new strap but ended up getting an honest opinion from someone who actually knows watches and most importantly, is not ripping customers off.

Mohemed took the time to explain these things to me and I was so impressed by his honesty and his care for my watch. In the end, the cost of my watch repair was much less than $80. How often can you find someone who would give you an honest opinion and not rip you off? As a customer, I was used to experiencing my services in the stores and not all of them are top-notch. However, this family business which is run in a home has offered me the best customer service I've ever received to the point that I didn't want to leave their place without thanking Mohemed and his wife [redacted] by giving them a hug. I was so happy when I got my watch back and it looked new. I showed my family as well as my fiancé and they were impressed by the work that Mohemed had done. If you are looking for a watch repair place and want to find someone who actually cares about your watch, I would recommend BC Watch Repair. Before going to some well-known place (aka the [redacted]), give them a call and see what he can do and how he can help you in repairing your watch back to it's original state. Highly recommend.

Took my 50 yr old [redacted] in about one month ago for repair. Found price more reasonable than others for the same service. (He works from his home so I guess less overhead. Anyway he fixed it. Took it home and found one issue with it stillsoe returned it and the issue was fixed with no further charges. Mohammed seems to know his stuff about watches.

I certainly concur with the other reviews of BC Watch Repair. Mohamed and his wife greeted me very cordially and invited me to be seated in their home workshop (which is in an apartment building, so do not think that you are not at the right place (as I originally did, thinking that I must have forgotten the correct address)) while Mohamed stopped what he was doing and worked to get my pocket watch running again. (Another very well-known jeweller had told me that it would have to be sent away and wasn't worth repairing.) So that I could take the watch with me immediately and not have to come back for it, Mohamed also improvised (the MacGyver of watchmakers?) a small repair for the lid and instructed me how to use it thereafter to keep it functioning. And the cost for the repair was certainly very economical -- which causes me to agree with some reviewers that Mohamed is in this business out of a love of working with watches just as much as or more than a concern for making as much money as possible.

Sent my non-working Montblanc automatic watch there yesterday and received his call for pick up this afternoon. The thing happened to the watch was dirt. He offers one-year warranty and free refurbishment. The charge was not quite cheap for me as a student, but his expertise and attitude deserve respects and due to the specialty of complicated watch repairing, I found the price acceptable. I would definitely recommend this place for high-quality watch repairing.
