are attaching all supporting documents of our correspondence with our client for fees, BConnect is CPA firm from 2007 and I am CPA with 25 years of experience including working with [redacted] and [redacted], Due to our experience, quick services, all our clients are mainly coming back to file their tax return every year. Our fees are starting from $200 for Single person and $250 for MFJ return which all our clients knows and we are telling our clients while discussing return with them. Once they agree with fees, we emailed the return (completed) to client along with bill in same packet. After that some client chooses to e-file return or some wants to do paper file. We debit our fees after that as mentioned in the email while we sent complete packet.[redacted] is our client from 2010 and he knows our work, process and fees very well. Every other year he will come to file taxes. We trust our client and we emailed the complete return even though we never met them and seen them in good faith that they will pay fees. [redacted] always argue for fees and still he come back to file return. Tax season is so busy time that we don't remember personality of particular client coming after 12 month and in good faith we complete and emailed complete return along with our bill after discussing our fees with them and before even charging any money.In 2012, [redacted] didn’t pay us a full fee, our fees got returned from his account and finally he negotiated and pay us only S150 arguing that your fees is higher. I am a CPA with 25 years of experience, even ** [redacted] people is charging higher fee then us. This is usual standard rate in the market. How come client will decide our fees and pay whatever they want after getting complete work?? Is physician and surgeon fees same?? Are we arguing doctor or any attorney fees after getting work done?? We always communicate while discussing tax return our fees as at that time we know how much is work based on client document and once client agree then we emailed completed return along with our bill and email that we debit our fees in bank account. [redacted] is already aware of our fees, he got work done, he returned our fees on 03/26/14 and then he sent us a check for $250. After that he is launching complaint and asking a fee back.
Most of our clients are all over USA and we complete their work in good faith before even charging any money, It is very hard to digest morality of people and disregard towards other professional services and wasting their time during tax season when CPA are extremely busy,, negotiating fees whatever they want to pay and file complaint for taking fees back.We are requesting you not to encourage this type of people and make them understand valuing other people experience and time. We personally value our client, do not want to get bad name, we are leaving on you whatever you decide for fees. However we are hoping that you will do right justice.
