In my response to the above claim I went several times to do repairs I explained to the homeowner this was just a repair that the whole front should be done, they chose to just replace three bundles of shinglesI went above and beyond what I was supposed to doI replaced the three bundles in the area that was leaking, I put the siding up at no charge, took $off because we could not match the shingles perfectlyThat was her the $gotten ductedI went back and did extra work because there was other spots leaking when I caulked around the dormers, that was free of charge I didn't give themWay more than $worth of work, the materials alone cost me $and the guys I paid $to do the workI have looked in there and there is a window leaking in the dorm or at this time that has nothing to do with the roofing, this is not going to be a free repairWe will be more than happy to go repair it for a chargeThe shingles that we put in place are not creating a leak[redacted]

There were a few untruth statements in Mr***s message which we *** address. He states he told us we needed to have the entire front of our house done but he did not say that. I do not know how many bundles of shingles he used but he told us later after we called him back to tell him it was still leaking that he had more shingles because the ones he used were not the right color to match our existing roof. Of course, he never came back to do any of the other work. He did come back after numerous calls to let him know the siding had dropped off again after he repaired it. And there was a charge to repair the siding because that was in the original quote. The reason we asked for a reduction of $from the original quote was because he said he could pressure wash the entire front of the house and when he did this it left streaks and red spots over areas of the roof. He agreed to the $reduction because the pressure washing made the appearance of the roof look very bad. The extra work he says he did was because it was not repaired the first time. In fact, after calling him over and over to come back, he said he thought his guy had come out and fixed it. No one had come out so he came or one of his workers came and caulked around the dormer window. The caulk is everywhere and it looks horrible. It is so unprofessional. As far as the leaking, which is why we originally called him out, is still leaking. This is when all the calls and calls and calls started and the lying about coming out and being on his way. We would even leave our garage door open when we left so he would have access to the attic. He never came after all those times. We have the video of the leaking and it is a steady stream of rain coming in our attic. We sent this to him but still could not get him to come to our home. This is why we decided to file a complaint with the Revdex.com. People doing business like this should be held accountable for their work. It is very unprofessional and he ask us to make the check out to him instead of his business. I know this is wrong and told him we could not. I am almost sure this is illegal and unprofessional on his part. As far as the work being more that $500.00, I am sure this is another untruth from Mr***. In our dealings with this man and his business, we have come to know that he can not be trusted. He tells you one thing but never stands by his word. His suggestion of being more than happy to come back and make more repairs and charging us more is completely out of the question. We do not want him back because he does not tell the truth and his work is below satisfactory. Well below satisfactory. Thank you for your time and we *** accept mediation appointment on Thursday

I went back and did extra work because there was other spots leaking when I caulked around the dormers, that was free of charge I didn't give them. Way more than $500 worth of work, the materials alone cost me $350 and the guys I paid $100 to do the work. I have looked in there and there is a window leaking in the dorm or at this time that has nothing to do with the roofing, this is not going to be a free repair. We will be more than happy to go repair it for a charge. The shingles that we put in place are not creating a leak.[redacted]

My complaint against owner of B&D Residential Services,  [redacted], is he is a slacker with building  my front porch and handyman jobs. I hired him to build my front porch and handyman jobs and gave him $857 personal check  for  porch materials and promised him $640 labor...

for everything  including an additional  $500 for labor that was added on later. [redacted] constantly everyday promised to be at my property to start building my porch and work on odd jobs but was either several hours late showing up or didn't show up at all without calling me.I got several excuses mostly about his helpers didn't show up for the job. Later I found  out that the real reason for his slacking was " I'm not paying him enough for labor" so I increased the labor $500 but he still kept coming late or not at all. So I hired someone else to finish the job. I gave [redacted] $857 personal check  for porch building materials of which he delivered to my property. But he refused to give me the receipt. He destroyed my chest  of drawers  he was  assembling for me and never paid for it.

I want to clarify as I did not explain in my original complaint. B & D did not start or finish the porch. I finally wised up to [redacted]'s slacker tactics and lies  and I hired someone else to build the porch.
