joints installed, no cost to *** ***When *** brought the truck in he said at that time his wife works for a repair shopHe said she wasgoing to buy new tires for the truckHe said they can take care of the exhaust, tuand othermiscellanies items that she could get at a discount through her workSo we lowered the price of thetruck by $amountSo we are not responsible for any needed repairsAlthough we did takecare of the upper and lower ball joint on passenger side at no cost to customerOn 1-12-***called and said his wheel came off, I told him we would have to look at it and see what happened, Ithought he was going to have truck towed inI never heard back from him until we get a bill from hiswife's work for That his wife *** *** wrote up herselfWhich according to theowner *** Shffiet was her job dutySo I was in shock to see such a high estimateSo on 1-14-Iand Joe Murphy drove to the *** Auto Repair at Sullivant AveColumbus, Ohio Italked to the owner *** *** he said when I showed him the repair bill this is the first time he sawthe estimateAfter looking at the vehicle together with *** Shefflet, *** *** and myself,*** *** agreed that the wheel bearing went bad and that my upper and lower ball joints werestill okay and does not need replaced and the $axle shaft only needs a U-joint.*** *** said *** *** and herself put Bake pads on it two weeks earlierSo they werethe last ones to have the front wheels off the truckAt that time if the wheel bearing was bad youwould have thought that he would have noticed it being bad*** *** being the shop owner told*** with a four wheel drive its common for wheel bearing to go badAnd that the wheel bearinghad already been replaced once before because it looked like an after market wheel bearing, Wealso brought to ***'s attention that there was some triple billing going on where the labor wasconcerned to remove the axle hours to do so you have to remove the wheel bearing leaving onlynuts to remove spindle maybe minutes not hours for spindle to R & R and hours for brakepads that was already removed so there is about $over billing for labor, not to mention that*** had said the they coud get the brake pads replaced for free under warranty through Advance, which brought up if they could get the $brake pads warranted and what *** put on thetruck, WHY they were wanting us to pay $for top of the line ceramic brake pads and wheelbearing for $they could get at Advance for around $or the $Axle shaft foraround $the difference of $So over billing of about $and that's just a quicklook at the bill.So to make our customer happy, we got the parts New Wheel Bearing, Hub Assemble, New U-jointand New brake rotor free of charge and even took the parts personally back to Columbus to ***He said he got the new brake pads they were still under warrantyThis was on 1-14-thesame day we look at it, I can fax the receipts from Advance, if needed dated 1-14-16.*** said we went above and beyond what any other car lot would have done, he said he would putit back together and work with them on the labor. Then *** came in to make the payment 1-19-on the truck saying that the truck now has aproblem with the transmission and the rear brakes and that we would be receiving another bill forabout 8,and that would put it around 10,to make the truck drivable again. We feel they are triple billing us because she works at the repair shop that gets a discount on parts. When *** bought the truck he said whatever repairs needed they could take care of it becausethey were able to get a discount on parts and labor at her work but her discount was to try and triplebill us.The truck was sold as is, we do our best to work with our customersBut can not afford to be takenadvantage of either.Contact informationBe Driven Auto SalesHuston st.Circleville, Oh 13740-477-phone740-477-fax740-969-

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:We did agree to buy tires not knowing vehicle had wrong size rims on it that have now caused damage to brakes. Its been 30 days today that truck has been down.
