We here at Be Fire Safe take a customers complaint VERY seriously and do everything in our power to rectify the situationWith that said is saddens us when we are unable to make a customer happyThere are two sides to every story and we have followed our business morals as best we can in dealing with this complaint.FactOne day after the customer took delivery of our product she called the finance company and stated to them she wanted to cancelThe finance company contacted us immediately as they will not pay us on the deal if the customer is unhappy and wants to cancelWe immediately called her back that day to find our her concernShe expressed to us so was trying to refinance her house and was concerned it would take longer to refinance then she had expectedWe told her we understand and if she still wished to keep our product we would work with her to find a solutionOur solution was to defer her payments mos to give her time to refinance her homeShe agreed this was a satisfactory solutionWe then notified the finance company of her agreement to keep the product if they would defer her payments for mosThey agreed to do so and proceeded to call her to re-verify her new terms per their policyThe finance company will not buy the deal until verbal verification from the customer every thing is OK and they agree to the finance termsThe customer in this complaint did speak with the finance company and confirmed she wanted to keep the product and was thankful for the mos deferred payment termsThe finance company then bought the deal from us and paid us on the deal.If we did not respond to her calls or did not talk to her as she claims the new terms would have never been reached and the finance company would have NEVER bought the deal from us or paid us on it had they not spoken to her and verified the new terms with her.It was then a couple months later she contacted us again and expressed her wanting to cancelWe do respect every customers wishes to cancel when done so in a reasonable time frameWe have let other customers out of their contract even after the day right to cancellationAs long as it is not to far down the line from the last day of cancellationWe have never let a customer return merchandise that is a couple months oldWe are very sorry the customer may have fallen on hard timesLife happens to all of us and we truly understandIt is company policy to follow the right to cancel law of days and often even extend that a few days for customers that fall on hard times right after their purchaseTwo months down the road is just to long to own and use our product for us to take a return. We sell safety devices and something that has been in a customers home for a couple months we could never turn around and resell so it would be a complete loss to the company.Our last conversation with the customer she said she was either going to sell them or give them to her son and would we be willing to install them in her sons homeWe told her we would be happy to do so for free for her and the call end on that note.This complaint comes as a complete surprise to us since our last call ended with here telling us she was giving them to her son and she would call us when they needed to be installed.We have always responded right away to her calls and will continue to do so if she wishes to contact us directlyWe are still willing and would happily install them in her sons home for freeAll she has to do is call us and let us know this is what she wishes to do.We wish the customer all the best and if she ever needs service we are here as her product is guaranteed for life

*** purchased alarms for her homeShe tried to cancel within the day cancellation periodShe called the finance company within her days and told them she wished to cancelWe contacted her and she expressed to us that she could not start payments right away as the agreement originally
statedWe told her we could defer her payments for six months and she said that would work greatShe then spoke to the finance company and told them she no longer wished to cancelThey confirmed the new agreement of months with no payments and all was goodA few months went by and then we got another call from herShe was wanting to cancel againAt this time it was just way to late into the contract and her owning and using our equipment to let her cancelOur company has spoke to her MANY times and every time she has a different story for usWe are sorry she feels this way but at this time there is nothing further we can do for herWe were willing to let her out of her contract during her day cancellation period but she changed her mind and wanted to keep the equipment with the new terms.Our company and an independent third party fiance company gave her a chance to cancelShe just changed her mind and wanted to keep the equipment We are Sorry *** has fallen on hard times but at this time it is just far to late into her owning and using our equipment to take it back. We wish her the best
