Review: Customer service at this store is VERY POOR, to the point of rude and unfriendly. They constantly change the prices on items. For example, I buy a pack of [redacted]'s one day for $5.50 and the next day for $6.50. The man who works there discriminates and alters the price based on his feelings towards that person. They are not helpful or kind at all. The man yells very loud and inappropriately, getting very easily frustrated at simple requests of customers. He never greets, mostly he is negative, complaining, and just a VERY AWFUL experience. He stares at the customers and follows them around the store, as if everyone is a thief. He was robbed for his ATM machine several months back, and accused people in our home, saying "I know you had something to do with this." How offensive. We purchase items in his store EVERY DAY. The two younger employees do their job, however they do it with a sneer or smirk, when there is nothing funny. It's almost as if they try to make the customer feel inferior. The older woman who works there, I have no complaints again. Also, they sell 99cent [redacted] for $1.25, and charge even more if they are refrigerated. It is very sad to have this be our only store within 4 miles, because it is a miserable experience, time and time again. I can't even explain in words the attitude of this man who seems to run the store; I've never seen anything like it.Desired Settlement: I would like to see a change and improvement in customer service and prices as marked, not changed when a particular person walks to the counter.

I never imagined an apology could be given, but yes, my family and I would in fact appreciate that. I would also like a change in his future customer service, and also to make the store owner aware if he is not already. Also, I would like my complaint publicly posted as you described, so other customers may have prior notice of what they are going to observe themselves. Thank you.

First of all I would like to say that I have been in this business for over 12 years and this is the first complaint I have received in this regard. The woman that has filed this complaint and her family have stolen from this business countless times, and insulted my family and me with racist remarks and stereotypes, a behavior that is unacceptable to anyone. Her son/step-son is currently in jail for countless robberies including one at my business. I have informed her entire family to stop shopping at my place of business for fear of robbery or worse. As for the price discrepancies, there are countless cigarettes, all at different prices. The prices on all the merchandise are clearly labeled and charged accordingly. The customer service aspect is explanatory in the case of this woman and her family, due to her lack of respect to the workers/other customers and use of profanity during each visit to the business. I will not provide the utmost level of customer service to people that continue to steal from my business, or behave in such a manner. All of the persons the woman has named are my wife and kids. This is a family business that provides an inviting and family atmosphere. This complaint is nothing but an attempt to justify her actions. I would appreciate it if this woman and her family never came to my business, as I have the right to refuse service, which she has never understood.
