Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.First, since your response states that you do not use diagnostic tools in your repairs, only prior experience, a multimeter and hand tools, even when the appliance has ports, my statement as to why diagnostic tools were not used to diagnose the problem has been answered Secondly, yes I did call your office a short time after the repair was finished to state the refrigerator was making the same noise only much worse I did not say that the refrigerator was going to catch fire as you state I said it could catch fire because of the loud noise it was making and yes some woman told me to unplug the refrigerator and they would be able to come back out in three days to continue with the repair No one said the food would keep for three days with minimal entry until they got back as you state was saidThis statement is so absolutely ludicrous that I can't believe anyone would have the audacity to think someone would believe it and do it Food in a refrigerator and freezer is not going to keep three days unplugged with or without minimal entry and besides who can do without a refrigerator for three days if you even got back that soon.Thirdly, I understood the person I was dealing with and was in my home working on my refrigerator was [redacted] At least that was the business card I was given In your response you state that a "tech" would be terminated if he were doing a job that jeopardized a customer's house and belongings and that I was jeopardizing a "tech's" job because I wanted my repair to be done immediately Your statement does not make any sense one way or the other If [redacted] was the person here, who is the tech you speak of? The statement saying I was told I would not pay another trip fee or service charge and would not be charged again is a complete misrepresentation of the truth because nothing of the such was ever mentioned I was told I would have to pay all the fees.As far as other companies booking 2-weeks out, I strongly disagree with you I have never heard of that nor have I ever had a repair shop tell me that Who could possibly wait weeks to have an appliance repaired that is used every day? That again makes no sense [redacted] , the person you are letting people think they are calling because you are continuing to use his business number, made a point of coming the day he was called and he fixed it right the first time As far as your statement that says it seemed your service could not please me as a customer is not true As a customer I just want and expect a job to be done right especially a job I have already paid for I work hard for my money and always have I am a USArmy Veteran and proud of itI retired from GE and now I am self employed to help make ends meet I do my absolute best job for my customers the first time If I should ever have a customer that was not satisfied with my work, I would make it a point to get that customer completely satisfied before I went on to work for another customer and leave the first customer hanging for daysAll I asked and expected of your company was to have my refrigerator repaired correctly for the $you charged Since you did not do that, I feel the least you could do is to reimburse me $for the incorrect work and keep the $trip and service fee If you are a company that stands behind your work and cares about your present and future customers, you will do that to prove you are an honest person and run an honest and reputable company Regards, [redacted]

In regards to Mr *** complaint the following conclusions have been drawn.Regarding the complaint of no diagnostic tools use's by the technician, the only tools to diagnose such issues are prior experience, a multimeter, and hand toolsThe statement made that there are ports for diagnostic tools
on his refrigerator is in fact completely falseIf further investigation is necessary FRS26LR5CWO is his model numberYou can find any and all information regarding his unit with such infoYes *** did call the office saying that his unit started making a noise again and he was advised to unplug unit until a technician could come to repair itUpon hearing we weren't able to come out right away, complainant proceeds to say it's going to catch fireHe was advised by melissa to unplug the unit and all food would keep (with minimal entry) until a tech could come outAs stated by ***, the damper assembly was replaced and if you refer to the model number above and look for the damper assembly on the schematic breakdown, you can clearly see there is no possible way the damper could cause anything to catch fireFrankly it's a door with a spring, Mr*** knew this as the tech walked him through the repairI certainly don't appreciate possibly jeopardizing a employee's job because you want your repair immediatelyBecause I assure you if a tech ever carlessly jepordized a customers home and belongings they woukd be terminated immediately. seems to also have been confused about who he spoke with because yes *** is the owner ans yes that is who he spoke with, to thr best of my knowledge *** has no foreign accent but only a southern drawAlso upon speaking to *** to try and resolve the matter he tells me he will never use our company again and he does not want us to finish the repair and hangs upWe were as prompt as possible but not up to Mr ***''s standardsIt may be worthwhile to note it was explained to Mr *** he would not pay another trip fee or service charge and wouldn't be charged again if the diagnosis were incorrect It seems that we were in no way able to please Mr*** as a customerHe did not ask for a refund nor was he offered oneIt is our position that we have done everything in our power and promised to the customer and nothing lessOther repair facilities book 2-weeks out all we asked for was days.Mr*** did not peruse us for a refund and that's why such action was left out of complaintWe really look forward to your response

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.First, since your response states that you do not use diagnostic tools in your repairs, only prior experience, a multimeter and hand tools, even when the appliance has ports, my statement as to why diagnostic tools were not used to diagnose the problem has been answered.  Secondly, yes I did call your office a short time after the repair was finished to state the refrigerator was making the same noise only much worse.  I did not say that the refrigerator was going to catch fire as you state.  I said it could catch fire because of the loud noise it was making and yes some woman told me to unplug the refrigerator and they would be able to come back out in three days to continue with the repair.  No one said the food would keep for three days with minimal entry until they got back as you state was said. This statement is so absolutely ludicrous that I can't believe anyone would have the audacity to think someone would believe it and do it.  Food in a refrigerator and freezer is not going to keep three days unplugged with or without minimal entry and besides who can do without a refrigerator for three days if you even got back that soon.Thirdly, I understood the person I was dealing with and was in my home working on my refrigerator was [redacted].  At least that was the business card I was given.  In your response you state that a "tech" would be terminated if he were doing a job that jeopardized a customer's house and belongings and that I was jeopardizing a "tech's" job because I wanted my repair to be done immediately.  Your statement does not make any sense one way or the other.  If [redacted] was the person here, who is the tech you speak of?  The statement saying I was told I would not pay another trip fee or service charge and would not be charged again is a complete misrepresentation of the truth because nothing of the such was ever mentioned.  I was told I would have to pay all the fees.As far as other companies booking 2-5 weeks out, I strongly disagree with you.  I have never heard of that nor have I ever had a repair shop tell me that.  Who could possibly wait 5 weeks to have an appliance repaired that is used every day?  That again makes no sense.  [redacted], the person you are letting people think they are calling because you are continuing to use his business number, made a point of coming the day he was called and he fixed it right the first time.  As far as your statement that says it seemed your service could not please me as a customer is not true.  As a customer I just want and expect a job to be done right especially a job I have already paid for.  I work hard for my money and always have.  I am a U. S. Army Veteran and proud of it. I retired from GE and now I am self employed to help make ends meet.  I do my absolute best job for my customers the first time.  If I should ever have a customer that was not satisfied with my work, I would make it a point to get that customer completely satisfied before I went on to work for another customer and leave the first customer hanging for days. All I asked and expected of your company was to have my refrigerator repaired correctly for the $234.89 you charged.  Since you did not do that, I feel the least you could do is to reimburse me $154.89 for the incorrect work and keep the $80.00 trip and service fee.  If you are a company that stands behind your work and cares about your present and future customers, you will do that to prove you are an honest person and run an honest and reputable company.
