See below as an example of one of several emails conveyed to [redacted]. The refund is not something owed to Mr. & Mrs. [redacted] by Beach Bum Vacation; a third party travel insurance company, [redacted], investigates the claim and ultimately is responsible for refunding our mutual customers. I can personally assure you Beach Bum Vacation has absolutely no intention of foregoing assistance to the [redacted]’s until they are fully refunded by the insurance company. We pride ourselves on a flawless customer service record since conception on 2/14/00. We have no intention of tarnishing our established impeccable reputation. Mrs. [redacted] was provided an insurance claim number on Sept 15th, see below, & has been kept abreast of the refund situation as we have received updates as Stephen K[redacted] as received them. Unfortunately, [redacted] does require proof from the airline, Caribbean Airlines, in writing, stating that the return flight was cancelled and reason for cancellation. Caribbean Airlines have been extremely difficult to comply with Stephen K[redacted]’s and [redacted]’s numerous requests. Once they send me that email, they told me it will take 7-10 days for them to start on it, and up to two weeks to process the claim. I’m sorry it has taken so long but I am working on it for you! Also, I did submit a request to be reimbursed for your cab fare and based on what I was told, they said that would qualify as an expense that can be reimbursed. Your claim number is 1[redacted].
