Review: To whom it may concern
My name is [redacted]. On September 26th, 2014 I purchased a vehicle from Beach City Auto Sales. I test drove the vehicle on the street alone, not taking it on the freeway being that I was unfamiliar with how to get to the freeway from the car lot that the car was purchased at. Once all the paperwork was signed and I did make it to the freeway to drive the vehicle home the care would not go any faster than about 45 miles per hour. I immediately called [redacted] informing him of the problem, asking him was there a mechanic that he would suggest that I take it to, to see about this problem. His suggestion was to come pick up the vehicle so that he can take it to a mechanic by where his dealership was. I agreed telling him as long as the problem is fixed I wouldn’t care where he took it to get it fixed. He showed up that night with a tow on the back of a truck to pick up the vehicle that night. At that time I suggested that he put me in another vehicle and even offered to put another $1000 down being that the other vehicle I was interested in was about $1000 more than the Impala that had the problems. He told me that that was not possible being that he had already sent the registration paperwork to the DMV and assured me that his job was to make sure that his customers where happy so he will fix the problem that is wrong with the car. Trusting in what he said I agreed with reservation. A week went by until he called me to let me know that the vehicle was ready. I caught the bus to go pick up the vehicle which took me about 4 hours. When I got there [redacted] wasn’t there but a woman brought me into the office reminding me that I still need to pay them $300 plus $15 for making the down payment with my debit card.
The vehicle still drove funny but was able to go freeway speed so for about a week and a half I drove the vehicle with no major problems. On October 10th while driving home from picking up my 3 year old son the vehicle stopped in the middle ofDesired Settlement: I would want [redacted] to put me in another vehicle or at the least make the vehicle that I bought drive-able being that it was advertised as running perfectly
