All of our calls are recorded and upon review Ms [redacted] never indicated her need for an elevator or any other handicap requirement when booking this propertyThis property is NOT advertised as ADA compliant and does NOT list an elevator as an amenityThe elevator has been non-functional for quite some timeBFO offered to send staff to property to assist when ever Ms [redacted] needed help with luggage or wheelchair.2.) Air Conditioning: Guest requested air conditioners and two portable air conditioners were delivered in a timely manner.Concerns AFTER check outMs [redacted] communicated the following concerns after check outThis does not allow BFO to address these issues during her stayOur staff is local and very responsive.1.) Lack of Hot Water in One Shower: This property has hot water at all baths, showers, sinksThe guest before and after had hot waterOur staff confirmed hot water flow upon departureThis was user error.3.) Exactly where were we suppose to wait at, in the 90 degree garage, Your office was aware of my husbands condition, as I explained when I call about the air. As far as calling you, your phones have no reception, as far as the hot water, read your reviews, others also complained about it. And you say you have great reviews, funny you only post the good reviews. And threaten me that with the $ 200.00 you offered me, that if I wrote a bad review you would not give me a dime.

BeachFront Only  Vacation rentals has communicated with this guest and sincerely apologizes for their inconvenience. Our offer of a 10% discount on a future booking has been accepted and this complaint has been settled.

Review: Company continues to charge my credit card after the initial transaction was complete. I have tried to call and speak with them but management has routinely hung up on me. They claim that we stole a key and unlocked doors within their units, but we did not. This is clearly demonstrated by the following points of evidence:1. We would not know where the key would be located to unlock doors2. If we found a key we would not know where it belongedHowever to me it seems more likely that the individual/employee responsible for locking the doors failed to do so.They have charged my credit cards for an additional $1,400 from what the contract states and are unwilling to refund it.Best,**Desired Settlement: I will only pay what was stated in contract.

Review: I rented a 2 bedroom bungalow in Oceanside, CA from Beachfront only vacation rental online. The site advertised these wonderful charming, clean and most appealing places to rent. I selected the area I wanted and found the bungalow that I thought from the pictures on line was just perfect. I researched all the reviews and could find only positive reviews. I then contacted the company and rented bungalow P538-4. The rental was for 3 nights 6/30/13-7/03/13. The price was $1307.85. This is a lot of money for 3 nights but by going with what the website showed by way of pictures and comments I thought it would be worth the splurge. When we arrived I was completely disappointed. The little bungalow was falling apart, the tiles were loose in the bathroom and kept crunching under our feet. You could not close the bathroom door as it had been hung and rehung so many times. My husband had to bend down to get his head under the shower head and he is only 5'11. The place was somewhat clean, but all the screens were caked in dirt and gunk. There was no AC so had to leave all windows open with the breeze blowing through the dirt on the screens. The blinds were torn and someone had attempted to glue them together. There were beer cans and cigarette butts on the patio which we had to clean before my girls could go out to play. The bedding was dreadful, it looked like it was 10 yrs old with flat pillows and bedding (nothing like the website pics) the furniture was cheep and old, the bedrooms were dull and uninviting. the kitchen cabinets were mismatched and dining tables were stained. The walls were dirty and the carpet edges caked with dirt and fluff. The worse part were the cockroaches in the kitchen and bathroom. The place was really run down, dated and shabby. Not worth $435 a night. We were completely misled from the website. There were no negative reviews on-line so we could only made a determination from what was represented on their website. Upon arriving at the place I immediately contacted [redacted] at Beachfront rentals who then sent me to [redacted], and I gave her my complaints and explained that we felt very misled and were very dissatisfied. She indicated to me that the bungalows were marked for demolition and that's why nothing had been updated. She offered TRY to move us to another rental but could guarantee beach front which is what we had, or even that she could move us given it was a holiday week., she also offered to change the bed linen but it would take about 2 hrs for someone to do that and that would of interrupted our plans. They also offered to extend our stay one day, which in no way helps the reasons we were upset and uncomfortable (we did not stay the additional day as we were very uncomfortable there). It should not have come to that point. We were charged a lot of money for our 3 day stay and honestly the accommodations were maybe on the level of a cheep motel that you pay $99 a night. I made a negative review on their website after we returned home and of coarse to this day my review has not made the website, so how can the consumer renting on line make a just decision when they are only presented with positive facts! This is completely false advertising! Nobody ever contacted me regarding my review so I sent [redacted] a letter along with all the pictures I took of my complaints. [redacted] did call me back but basically told me there was nothing they could do except offer me a discount on a future rental! She was going to contact he owner of the bungalow and she what could be done and I have not heard another thing from them. They have completely blown us off.Desired Settlement: We are not unreasonable people but we own a business so we understand customer service. We are always honest and upfront with our customers, and when a problem arises we do our best to satisfy the customer.

I am not looking for a full refund of the time we were there as I understand that we stayed 3 nights, but I felt we were over charged for what we received. If I had know what awaited us I never would of agreed to the price and there fore would not of rented from them.

I am looking for at least one nights rental refund which is $435.95.

I also have lots of pictures of what is described above. My complaints are real and I am not looking for a free vacation, just what is right.

BeachFront Only Vacation Rentals welcomes all reviews and comments. The property rented by this guest has been under our management for four years and we have many happy and returning guests. We are sorry that we were not able to come to settlement with this guest after offering to: 1.) Move them to another property, 2.) Replace all linen and 3.) Extend their stay by one night.

They offered to move us to another rental but it was not beach front which is what we paid for and was the reason that we rented this particular unit. We only had a three night stay and they offered to change the linens for us but we would have to wait there until someone arrived as no body was on site and they could not tell us how long we would have to wait. Why should we ruin our plans waiting for a linen change out when it should not have come down to this in the first place? Did they not read the complaint it was not just the linens it was everything, they completely misled us in regards to what we were paying for. Complete false advertising! They offered to extend our stay one more night, First of all we could not stay even if we wanted to, we had to return to work, and why would we want to extend our stay at a place we were not comfortable? I do not believe that they have never received a complaint. We tried to post a negative review several times to their website but they never posted the reviews. How can anyone make a informed decision if they only post positive reviews? We were completely buffaloed into thinking this was a lovely place worthy of $435.00 a night. These people are crooks and very dishonest in there advertising of what they are renting.
