cleaning. I discussed this matter with the employees who were involved and they acknowledged that a mistake was made and the customer's pants were accidently put on a different customer's order. The next day, however, the pants were found and returned to him and he was not charged for the cleaning of that pair of pants. The amount of $15.65 that he paid when he came in on 6/22 was for a different pair of pants and a shirt that he did receive that day. I was also informed that the day after his pants were returned to him, one of my employees made a phone call to him to apologize for the mistake that was made. He said he was grateful for the apology but by that time he had already filed a complaint with the Revdex.com. Because an apology was made to the customer and he was not charged for the pair of pants that had initially gone missing I feel that this matter has been addressed and resolved fairly. Customer service is very important to us at Beacon Cleaners and I have reviewed our customer service policy with all of my employees since receiving this complaint.

An employee mistakenly filed my clothing under another customers name and refused to give me it back! First they wanted some sort of "proof" they where mine, and then they refused to call the other person and even verify that they had clothing out. It took 5 days of me calling every day, until I finally called the main location for assistance. It took the dry cleaning driver to finally call the other guy and verify that he didn't have any dry cleaning there! When the issue was supposedly resolved, and I went down there to get my clothes, they proceeded to kick me out of the store because I let the other customers know what was happening with my clothing. After everything was said and done (and I had stood outside for about twenty minutes and they realized I wasn't going anywhere), they wanted to charge me for my clothes! So I paid, and I complained, and she had the audacity to say, "Well you can wait until tomorrow and talk to Cathy (the manager)" she was on the phone with Cathy this entire time, and it's not important enough to call her back? I will never use this company again and I advise against it. Everything is great until there is a problem and then good luck getting it resolved!

Review: I had taken a quilt that I had purchased for $215 (before shipping) to the Beacon Cleaners to be dry cleaned. Upon giving the quilt to the cleaners I stated that the quilt couldn't be washed, it needed to be dry cleaned. There was also a large tag on the quilt saying DRY CLEAN ONLY. When I received the quilt back it had clearly been washed. The colors had run together and the stuffing in the quilt was clumped together in lumps throughout. When we called Beacon Cleaners they claimed it hadn't been washed, but when we brought the quilt in they agreed that they had made a mistake and it was something they couldn't fix. Finally I was connected with the owner of Beacon Cleaners and he claimed that he didn't feel he was responsible for replacing the quilt. Rather than owning up to the mistake, he stated that it was the company who made the quilt's fault because it couldn't be washed (although there was a clear label stating dry clean only). After much argument he only offered to pay $150 or nothing. I took the $150, but I feel that it was absolutely their mistake and I should have been reimbursed the full amount. Not only did he not admit to it being their fault, he was also very rude in dealing with my concerns. I would not recommend Beacon Cleaners.Desired Settlement: I would appreciate being reimbursed the full purchase price for my quilt, however an apology and concern for their customers would be a start. Mainly I want others to know that Beacon Cleaners doesn't handle customer concerns the way I would expect a business to handle them.
