Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:I am not in possession of an estimate for $ish dollars. Never have been. I have estimates; for the total and each for the three sub-projects that I identified from the very firstI have spoken at length with the owner and have found him difficult. Stating on one occasion his need to educate me, and on another that I was renegotiating after the fact. Unneeded and condescending for the first and untrue on the second. The bottom line is this: there was a charge I paid for a main floor switch repair that I asked not to be done, it wasn't but the invoice still contained itSecondly, the was a line item to
repair an overhead light connection. After yet again ending a conversation to go back and check his records (having not been prepared on either call) he called to offer that the diagnosis to determine cause and correct the light absorbed the difference in the two estimatesRoughly, the difference between $and $2700. I find this to utter malarkey and possibly a maanswer in the time he needed to check his records again. As to the overhead light that needed correction. It needed no "diagnosis: * it needed an electrician with a step stool and a good arm (my shoulder in recovery from being rebuilt). * I say diagnosis was not needed as it was provided. We had the entire house re-plumbed to eliminate polybutylene pipe. the light in question is in the room adjacent to the hot water heater, furnace, and water cut-off. There are some odd small diameter polybutylene pipes running alongside this light emanating from the valve to control the underground irrigation system. The plumbers indicated that the light box and fixture was jostled repeatedly in their attempt to work around it
I want nothing more to do with the owner and will not spend any more time on this.. I have made my case repeatedly on the phone and in email with accompanying documentation. If the owner comes around to understanding the overcharge for the work, I would suggest he donate the sum to *** *** ***. I am through dealing with him

(specifically our troubleshooting fee). The customer provided written authorization to proceed with the work which we completed.  The customer contacted us weeks (not days) after the work was completed and requested additional separation of estimates, which we provided. The owner called the customer and went over in detail all associated cost and line items during a 45 minute conference call.  The customer agreed that all the work discussed was completed.  The customer did not agree with a troubleshooting fee which included examining the entire circuit, testing the faulty circuit and a recommended solution and labor to fix the problem.  The troubleshooting fee was included in the fixed price of 2756.57.   The total project cost for the portion that was completed was in fact 2756.57.  The customer paid a deposit of 560 which left a remaining balance of 2196.57.  The customer is stating that he only authorized 2196.57 worth of work but yet we have a signed order of 2756.57 which we provided to the customer via email.  We have no record of a authorized order of 2196.57.I recognize the customer is frustrated and I would entertain a reasonable refund for the issue at hand (i.e., the troubleshooting fee and cost of the solution) in the hopes of resolving this.  If the customer would like to call me I would be willing to continue the conversation and hopefully resolve the dispute.

 Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:
I am not in possession of an estimate for $2700 ish dollars.  Never have been.  I have 4 estimates; 1 for the total and 1 each for the three sub-projects that I identified from the very first.
I have spoken at length with the owner and have found him difficult.  Stating on one occasion his need to educate me, and on another that I was renegotiating after the fact.  Unneeded and condescending for the first and untrue on the second.
The bottom line is this:  there was a charge I paid for a main floor switch repair that I asked not to be done, it wasn't but the invoice still contained it. Secondly, the was a line item to
repair an overhead light connection.  After yet again ending a conversation to go back and check his records (having not been prepared on either call) he called to offer that the diagnosis to determine cause and correct the light absorbed the difference in the two estimates. Roughly, the difference between $2100 and $2700.  I find this to utter malarkey and possibly a made-up answer in the time he needed to check his records again.
There are 20 some odd small diameter polybutylene pipes running alongside this light emanating from the valve to control the underground irrigation system.  The plumbers indicated that the light box and fixture was jostled repeatedly in their attempt to work around it.
I want nothing more to do with the owner and will not spend any more time on this..  I have made my case repeatedly on the phone and in email with accompanying documentation.  If the owner comes around to understanding the overcharge for the work, I would suggest he donate the sum to [redacted].  I am through dealing with him.
Regards,
