This is regarding the matter of member, [redacted] , and the cancellation policy here at BHAC. I am attaching a copy of [redacted] 's contract where she signed and initialed that she understood our cancellation policy. She says she let a staff member know she wished to cancel over the phone but as... it clearly states in the contract she signed we require " completing a with drawl form in person, or via certified mail posted to the address above, giving a 30 day notice prior to the date of billing". We try to make our cancellation process as easy as possible but we have never taken cancellations over the phone. I, personally , as the club manager tried to contact [redacted] for several months (phone call or email) without getting a response and /or written notice of cancellation from her. After 3 months of not being able to reach [redacted] , we transferred her debt to our collection agency. [redacted] is not a staff member of Beacon Hill Athletic clubs, he simply took the debt from us and tries to collect on his own. He is not part of our company in any fashion. I have contacted [redacted] and let him know that we are in contact with [redacted] and therefor, he can take her off the list. I will be mailing a final bill in the amount of $216 today and will expect payment as soon as possible. Please feel free to contact me with any more questions regarding this matter.
