To whom it may concern,What follows is in regards to Mr [redacted]’s concerns of a poor quality repair:1 The door adjustment Although listed on the estimate, we did the door adjustment as a courtesy at no charge. We explained to him that if we brought the door...
in any closer it would chip the paint off the body.2 Poor bumper fit and an inadequate estimate. Due to the construction of modern vehicles not all damages can be seen upon initial inspection. We found upon initial dismantling, that the bumper brackets were bent, rusted and needed replaced. After discussion between both parties the owner did not wish to incur any additional cost for further parts or repairs.3 Gouged plastic tray between bumper and grille.This was discussed at initial time of inspection with the owner. It was pointed out that this piece in question would likely be damaged due to the bumper being pushed back and up into the grille. (see photo)Once again, owner declined repair to this part and stated that it had prior paint fade and gouges anyway.As a business owner I want to satisfy every customer we service.We custom mixed touch up paint and touched up said vehicle at no charge. We provided transportation to the YMCA as courtesy, We honored a fifty dollar off coupon and as stated above, adjusted door at no charge.We tried accommodate the owner in every way we could.Custom Auto Body Inc[redacted] Vice President
