On June 5th we installed an ice maker and a water valve
They did call us back to state that the unit was not functioning properlyThe tenants had the unit turned down too low in temperature, which froze the tube going to the ice maker
This was a customer error not a product or service error
We did send a technician back out free of charge to unfreeze the water line (which we did not have to do because of tenants error) and explained that unit had to be turned up to stop the line from freezing again
The landlord then contacted us on the 13th of July as stated and we did make contact with landlord on July 14th and stated to them that our warranty is good for daysSo if part was installed on June 5th, the warranty was only valid until July 5th

I do not accept the business's responseIt took the company over months to respond to this complaint, which just shows their failure to communicateEven if the line was frozen, the ice maker never worked from day oneWhy didn't they check for a frozen line when they installed the ice maker? If the line was frozen the ice maker wouldn't have worked when the day installed itThe fact is the ice maker did not work and still does not work even after the line was unfrozenThis business needs to stand behind their work or should refund the money spent on the part

We replaced a WATER VALVE and an ICE MAKER
The line could not of been frozen prior to us replacing the ice-maker because the water valve was bad and not supplying water to the lineWe did check the line, that is how we found a bad water valve in the first placeA line cannot freeze if it is properly being supplied with water
The replacement parts that we installed worked properly because the tenants told the technician that it made or containers full before it stoppedAs stated before the unit failed due to USER error and not the unit itself
We resent a technician back out and that it where it was determined that the tenants had the temperature set too lowAgain unit is still working but the temp is causing the frozen line not the water valve or the ice-maker
We called the tenants days later and they stated unit was working fine and the temperature was correctWe did not hear back from tenants at all
We heard back from you (you being the landlord) several weeks out of warranty and after tenants moved out
The ice-maker and water valve always worked properly in the day policy, our installation was done correctly and our follow up with the tenants was timely
