Our family has been renting from Bear [redacted] for years now, and we reccommended your company to our family and friends This business has very poor business practices, they manipulate photo graphs to make places look different (in a better way) and do not fully disclose locations of homes near by They are rude, and do not handle customer input Our cabin had damaged kitchen benches, damaged chair, damaged pool table, as well as vents that were caked in dust (very bad health hazard) When we spoke with "management" we were ignored and put off Our other family members had numerous issues also and not one were validated We will never reccomend or stay with this company again WE are so disapointed and the management company is horribleIt is their job to maintain properties, not the "owners" of the home? Those owners put their property in the hands of Bear [redacted] rentals and it is their job to maintain, clean and upkeep properties I will no longer stay or reccomend this company to our friends and family
Got a call two days after we checked out advising us that we were being charged $for having a dog in the cabin, they said they found dog food and dog hair? Ummm, we don't even have a dogThe lady, Leslie, that I spoke with said that the cleaning lady that found evidence of a dog was now "out of town" and that she would not refund our moneyShe also told me that they only wash the comforters "as needed" and that is what the $charge was for, to wash a comforterIf I would have known that we would have stayed somewhere that washes ALL the bedclothesI don't appreciate being charged for our non-existent dogFurthermore, our Jacuzzi didn't even work the first two nights we were thereNeither did the porch lights What an aweful company to spend your money atWe've rented places all over the country and have never had a problem so ludicrous as thisNever againBeware
Bear camp cabin rentals Pigeon Forge, TN cabin name A moment to togetherWe were told that this cabin had a bedroom door but it didn'tAfter we unpacked and had everything put away...we filled the jacuzzi up and when we turned the jets on nothing but dirt came outMy wife and daughter were covered in dirt! We called the office and they sent a cleaner out and she cleaned as much as she could and said it was cleanWe turned it on that night and dirt againThe coffee pot didn't work so we had to go to the office for a working coffee potThe water pressure is messed upAll the dishes were dirtyWe had to rewash them before useOnly towels given which is kind of stingyWe had peopleNo extra blanket for the sleeper sofaOn a positive we still had funIt's in a nice spotNot a lot of trafficBed was comfortable.I think they should have given us a discount because of the jet tubMy wife was not happy at all about the jet tub and the broken coffee pot! Oh and there are cameras, front and back but the office knew nothing of themI understand security but I felt invadedThe WiFi was hooked up wrong to the modemThey had to fix that to

So I made a follow up call to Bear Camp Cabins as I have not received a return phone call from any one let alone the General Manager.
I was placed on hold while Amy was to have the GM come to the phone. The call was answered by Leslie who answered the phone letting me know she was just reviewing my information. I asked is this your first time reviewing my email and pictures... at which time she stated " we have more pressing issues than you to attend to, you are not a priority....we have wild fire and loss of cabins...." I told Leslie while I understand the current events in TN, my calls and emails were sent prior to these events taking place (which is why no call was made to their office yesterday) and there has been no acknowledgement of my complaint and at this point I want my money refunded. To which Leslie advises they are not willing to refund my money. She added that I was offered maintenance and I refused it. WHICH IS A LIE. The maintenance that was offered to me (by Elaine) was the vaccuming of bugs. I advised Elaine there was no need to send someone to vaccum when the vaccum cleaner was left in the unit. Leslie repeated this was not a top priority for her... I told her while it may not be important to her what was important to me is my family being exposed to mold, mildew, dust, rodent dropping, soiled carpet, etc. She then responds she didn't know anything about droppings... I responded if you'd read my emails you would have. She then adds I will give half of your money back but that is it because you stayed in the unit. I asked her where would my family have checked in on Thanksgiving and had I not wasted money on their property that would have been an option. She told me that is all she is going to do. I advised her that I needed to speak to her manager...when I asked for the managers name she tells me she can't give it to me.
Not to mention during my call I was placed on and off speaker phone for the staff to hear. Which is no problem....however collaboration should have occured on Friday or Saturday to discuss a plan of action...
If the General Managers name can not be shared....it would seem to me as though you would want to avoid any issue escalating to that point. What professional tells a dissatisfied customer they can't tell the name of the General Manager.
If my complaint was of a small insignificant nature....I could attempt to wrap my head around it.
This company and said leadership are very poor examples of Property Managers or even a real estate Company. There is no regard for customer's as it relates to follwups much less acknowleging receipt of correspondence or concern about customers exposure to such filth.
The filth in the SNUGGLE INN CABIN is a clear respresentation of the staff and their treatment of customers. They fail to maintain cleanliness and any level of customer service.
Upon reviewing their website the cabin looked like a heavenly get away ( love without end cabin ) and my husband and I were so excited to get there. It was dark by the time we got there so we didn't get a good look. Once we got inside the pictures were as shown on the website but some disappointments. There is water damage on the hardwood floors by the garden tub. The floor in front of the shower is shockingly soft from water damage. The bed is broken and held together by two small screws. Once we got up the next day we got a good look at the exterior. It is NOTHING as pictured. The land scaping is disastrous, the cabin is ran down, over ran by Carpenter bees and wasps. My husband was stung upon trying to leave the cabin. We had to purchase our own wasp spray and upon telling the employees about it we were told that it wasn't their problem. Next time we will definitely be going with a different cabin company, this one has lost another set of customers!
