I put my car in the shop to fix a oil leak. I didn't know where the oil leak was coming from but I know it was leaking oil. I put my car in the shop in Febuary for a oil leak. On 3/3/2014 I went over to check on my car and picked up an invoice. The invoice had all the work they did on it with a price of $1321.67 invoice # XXXX-XX-XX-XXX. The mechanics told me they fixed the oil leak with gaskets, oil pan, oil filter, PCV valve, and new oil. I finally went to pay for my car May 27, 2014 the final bill and when I drove it there was no oil even in the car so I had to go back to the shop. At this point they told me I still had an oil leak after all the work that had been done already. Now they are saying I need a front seal dealing with the oil. And at this point they would have to take half my motor apart and pay an additional $596.00. On that day [redacted] asked me what was the problem and I told him and he said he would take care of it. On 6/25/14 [redacted] asked me to bring my car about lunch time and he would fix it, which he did not do. [redacted] told me to go buy some oil stop and that would fix the problem. I have talked to 2 other mechanics and they said if the other mechanic had put an oil pan on my car he would have seen the oil leak in the first place.Desired SettlementI feel that all the money I had put in to the car at this mechanic he did not do the job correct and I wasted my money. I can take the money I gave to that mechanic and take it to someone who will give me the business I deserve. I don't want Beard's fixing anything else on my car because I feel they are scaming me.
