My husband and I hired Royal Movers to move us from Ecorse to Woodhaven The initial contact was fast and courteous We were scheduled to move from to I called and asked the ETA and if it could be a little after 1:00PM I received a call back almost immediately and was told they were running late and it would be closer to 4:PM 4:PM came and went and I called to ask what time would they be there, was told 5: After several other calls and messages that I still have in my telephone, they arrived at our home at 7:PMThe gave me a $discount for the delay which was the charge for moving the marble table I asked if they would have enough daylight to move us They informed me that they had just picked up an "fresh employee" because the others had been on a move with a lady who had been in her home for years It progressively got worse They did not take all the items we needed moving, yet there was still plenty of space in the truckMy friend and I have a time stamped picture The main mover and I got into a heated conversation regarding these issues and he stayed on the phone with the owner for minutes He told me that I could have cancelled them, even though I had already given a $depositOne of the three movers, told my friend that the owner is constantly cheating customers because he tells them four hours, but it is actually three The entire situation spiraled out of control, they threatened to take our items to their location and we would have to come get them ourselves and pay hundreds more I called the owner and he refused to give me his name and hung up on meWe had to pay and additional $even though it was not a full four hours I called the Woodhaven Police to defuse the matterIn all my years, this was the worse business matter I have ever had! The most decent mover out of the three was the one with the tetherMy husband and I both have Police/Military backgrounds and are fans of people getting two, three , however many chances until they get it together We felt like we were moved by a racist company who did not think that African Americans should have a nice homeOne of the movers even asked my husband if we saved years to buy our home The situation was so bad that we called to have security cameras installed should they come back I am leaving a one star because is not an option

Movers arrived on timeLoading and unloading in a timely mannerEven moved some furniture at the first house down a level for usFurniture moved in excellent conditionThey really took the time and the effort to make sure nothing got damaged and it didn'tI would recommend this company to everyoneI am completely happy with their service!!

I would highly recommend Royal Movers to my family and friendsThis was my second moving expierience with themThey were very professional in wrapping and securing my furniture and set it up exactly where I wanted it placed in a professional and timely manner

The movers including the owner were very rude and arrogantThey lied about receiving the payment and said the credit card was declined and demanded I pay cash on the spot or they were going to remove the furniture they had already put in the truck and set it on my driveway when infact I had receipts which proved that the credit card was charged and they had the paymentThey brought over only 1/of my furniture and appliances the agreement was for all of my appliances and Furniture but then they left after the first loadThe owner was rude when I tried to talk to him about the broken furniture items after they left and I asked for a refund he declined rudelyI gave the company a poor review on Google and within have a couple of hours afterwards I received a threatening phone call from z the owner calling me white trash telling me I'm broke calling me a liar and telling me he knows where I work and he's going to get me fired from my jobThe movers also went through my personal th
