Beasley Properties Indiana

Rented in 2020/2021 and never missed a payment. Delt with numerous property issues and unsolved problems. He entered the property numerous times without notice as well. After moving out he refused to speak to us and refused to give the deposit back. 6 months later (and after another tenant took over AND after a fire took the property) he took us to court for 5000 dollars. Scam artist and privileged beyond belief. DO NOT RENT FROM HIM

My family moved into one of his rentals, in 2016.
He failed to provide us with a pamphlet, in regards to lead poisoning.
Since then, our infant daughter was diagnosed with lead poisoning, due to high lead levels in the home at 1825 N Rural St Indianapolis Indiana 46218
He also failed to fix the massive leak, under the kitchen sink, causing water damage and mold.
He came to the property, unannounced, multiple time and entered without warning.
He came to the property and cut a tree down, that was fully grown and on our neighbors property, growing onto the 1825 property, cutting it and charging us.
He left us with no heat/electricity, in the middle of winter for one week. We had two children, in the home. All things in the refrigerator/freezer was ruined.
When he finally sent someone, they were not licensed. They emptied the hot water heater into the basement, ruining all of my childhood sentimental items.
We were on a month to month lease, moved and he took us to court, filing for eviction. The only way that we found out was through Mycase.IN.gov because we knew that he was a crook and would probably do something foul, like that. Mycase determined a constable hand delivered the summons for court and Gregory (Scott) Beasley retrieved it and was failing to let us know that we had court. We went to court and he committed forgery, right in front of our eyes, saying that the house key was never received. We have a text, that proves, otherwise. When he saw us appear, in court, he swiftly said that he just wanted to do a damages hearing, because we showed up and were going to fight, knowing that he was lying and wrong. He never gave us back our $500 deposit, when our year lease was up. Damages will not exceed $500, yet he is still trying to fight it in court. He did not show up for the damages hearing and then decided to refile. He is going to be taking Julian, from work, 3 days, since starting this. This man does not deserve to run a business. I have more to say, but am running out of allowed words.
