Beaston Roofing

Review: Beaston Roofing installed a new roof at our home in the summer of 2010. The contract included a five year workmanship warranty. In fall 2014, we discovered a leak and upon further investigation, we found the entire back portion of the roof was covered in black mold. All of the affected boards are those that were installed at the time of installation. We contacted Tom Beaston who came to the house in November and agreed that the issue we were experiencing fell under the workmanship warranty and that he would have a crew repair the problem. The stipulation was that he needed to work another job to earn the funds to cover the necessary materials for our repair. My husband and I followed up with him in December, January, and February to ensure that we were still on his radar and were assured that this would be taken care of in the spring. In March, I contacted him in an attempt to schedule and left a message that went unanswered. At that point, I began making regular calls and leaving voicemails that went unanswered. He showed up at our home on Tuesday, April 21st unannounced (presumably when no one would be at home) to "take measurements", which entailed him looking at the roof from our backyard. He told me he would have a crew at our house that weekend or the next. When they didn't show, my husband called from a different number and Tom answered. During this call he said his son was in the process of repairing his trailer and he would have a crew up to our home within two weeks, definitely. That was the last conversation either of us have had with him, despite numerous phone calls to his cell phone, his son's cell phone, and the business phone- all of which are associated with the business on their facebook page.Desired Settlement: We want to have the necessary repairs made to our roof before any further damages occurs to our home.
