To Whom It May Concern:She booked an online a Group Spa Party The cost for the Group Spa Party is $per person She booked this about months before Mother's Day I called her the day after she made the online booking to get more info about how many people would be in
her Group Spa Party I left a message that day after calling about times the same number I left a long voicemail telling her they we needed to know how many people were going to be in her Group because the rate is $per person I also told her that each person would need to make the $payment in advance to confirm the appointment All of this was left on her voicemail at least a month and a half before the scheduled date of the appointment I also called about weeks before Mother's Day, the same number to leave the exact same message She never called me back I then called again the day of the appointment The woman finally picked up the phone I explained to her that on Mother's Day we would only be doing our "Mother's & Mimosa's package" I asked her if she would like to upgrade to that instead, because that was $per person She said no I then offered her customer service and said "Ok, I will go ahead and upgrade all of the people in her party to the Mother's Day package at no extra charge, because I didn't want them to feel left out while there were her She was fine with thatI then told her that "the other two can just pay their $when they arrive." This is where the miscommunication came in She said she thought it was only $for all three I calmly explained to her that no, its $per person We have on our website $then it states we can do from (1-25) we can take for the group partiesWe have never had a client assume that from 0-people it would be the exact same rate of $to cover all 25 people I continued to explain to her that, no, that rate is per person I also told her that I would update our website to ensure no one else made that assumption as well She began to complain and cuss and me and use profanity I calmly told her, that my apologies, but the rate is still $per person She argued with me saying that it should be $for everyone I said there is no way we can do that So, she said that she wanted to cancel I told her that we have a hour cancellation policy, but I could give her a store credit, no problem She then cussed me out and hung up This woman made the mistake of not calling me back over the months and weeks I tried to contact her If she had, I would have be able to issue her a refund But refunds can only be issued if the client cancels the appointment more that hours, as our cancellation policy clearly states I had every right to not even give her a store credit, but I did anyway I hope this helps to get the real truth Thanks for your time.Best,Maya G. www.maatispa.com

I have been very satusfied with my experience with Beaufort Rentals Upon having a maintenance issue *** immediately dispatched their crew and resolved the problem professionally and in a timely matter I would recommend them to anyone!!

*** and ** have been my property managers for several years and provide consistent excellent service....often going the extra mileThey also have an excellent support staff and their fees are very fair I recommend them highly

I am rejecting this response because:
Unprofessionalism at its finest Their ads are completely misleading The house we rented from Beaufort Rentals we found on *** The ad showed beautiful green grass in the front and back yard It had the fireplace listed as being a heating source It was made out to be something it definitely was not!We showed up to the house and the backyard is a complete swamp when it rains with mud holes, and dog poop everywhere from the previous renters Every time I let my dogs out I have to wash them off after My daughter absolutely cannot go back there and play also After about a week of being in the house we find out the fireplace never worked in the first place and that the heater in the house was not working properly either We filed complaints with the Revdex.com and the South Carolina *** ** *** *** against them for their misleading and advertised ad.We also have a heater that does not work properly and our house is a freezer at night creating an unhealthy living environment The heater company came out one time and said a duct was stuck shut so they opened it and said the heating system worked fine Of course they were wrong They came out a second time and said the heater had a broken duct and needed to be fixed They said they would call the owner of Beaufort Rentals as soon as they left and it has been days already and still no one has come to fix the heater They also said the thermostat downstairs was off by degrees, so just to get the house to be we have to crank it to which is absolutely ridiculous and its going to run our electricity bill through the roof.We also went into Beaufort Rentals and signed a document stating that we did not want to be in the house anymore and they would list the ad again on there website and we could also list the ad ourselves They waived the $dollar fee for relisting the ad.I have been harassed two different times by the owner of Beaufort Rentals to take down complaints I filed After not taking down my complaints with the Revdex.com and the South Carolina *** ** *** *** they removed the ad for our house from there website and from *** and stopped helping us to find new renters They also responded to our complaint we filled with the Department ** *** *** and completely lied in the complaint They said I admitted that I was trying to use the fireplace as an excuse to get out of the lease Never did those words come out of my mouth I told the unprofessional owner that we could not afford the house and that the ad was misleading and that's why we wanted out of the house.

Beaufort Rentals managed our rental home for many years They were always very prompt and very professional, whether dealing with routine or unexpected situations I highly recommend this firm as a rental agent

My husband and I are a military family and needed a temporary single family homeAt first we appreciated the customer service but were soon shown multiple dirty homes with promises of them being cleaned up and painted/cleared of debris
Believing *** (the owner/leasing agent) and since we were somewhat desperate, we ended up choosing the best option for us
The house we moved into was dirty with cobwebs on the ceilings, scratches and scuffs on the walls, stained carpet, etcBeaufort Rentals did not paintThe yard was full of broken glass, cans, and other debris
When we asked Beaufort Rentals to fix the rotting floorboards in the corner, cabinets in the kitchen, and broken closet doors, they said these were the responsibilities of the owners and there was nothing they could do
When we told them the house was dirty, they said "Oh sorry, we keep getting complaints about our cleaning serviceWe will make a note of it"We appreciate them making a note of it but they should have come back and done the job correctly instead of keeping us in a dirty house
We marked ALL of these things down and took picturesWhen it came time to move, we were unable to do a walkthrough with ***, though we tried (timing did not work and unfortunately with military life sometimes there is nothing we can do about these things)We HOPED that the pictures we took and the notes we made when we moved in would be enoughThis unfortunate and unavoidable circumstance left us vulnerable for *** (the owner as well as leasing agent) to take advantage of us
Beaufort Rentals took almost all of our deposit for things like "yard cleanup" and "wall painting"We were in this home for months with no children, both of us working full time, rarely there, with very little furniture to scuff walls, etcIn fact we made repairs, did our best to scrub and clean the walls and dispose of the backyard debris because I was so embarrassed by and uncomfortable with the state of the house
This company charged us to "fix" the things we complained about upon moving in! By the time we got what was left of our deposit we were already across the countryThe pictures I sent, the documents, the proof, did nothing
In fact, *** avoided my attempts to call and even when he did respond he was all of a sudden short, condescending, and completely opposite of the congenial attitude he had when he was trying rent the home out to us
This company took advantage of our situationI have rented more than homes across the country and world over the course of my life as has my husband, and we have never had this type of horrible experience
I would be happy to show the documents, photos, and emails that demonstrate Beaufort Rentals' unwillingness to handle this situation the way an honest and forthright business would
I also want to add that many of the reviews on their Facebook page are either people that work for the company or (as a quick search will show you) friends of people that work for the companyThey even created this second Yelp business page because their first one had a 1-star ratingThat alone should tell you everything you need to know about this company

I have worked with this business for a few years, and I think they are great. [redacted] has gone above and beyond to help me and maintain my rental. He always calls me back promptly and assists with any problems I have. I enjoy all the people who work there, but [redacted] has such a positive attitude, which I greatly appreciate.

I was one of the first customers of Beaufort Rentals. They continue to manage my residential and commercial rental properties. I am very happy with their screening process, marketing and maintenance programs.
Keep the cash flow coming and I will remain happy..

We did a thorough inspection of the fireplace and gas system with our gas specialist on 23 January. It was determined that everything is in working order and that the tenant just needed to pay for the gas service. According to Section 10 of their lease "UTILITIES AND SERVICES: TENANT agrees to pay...

for utilities and services ............................................................... TENANT shall pay all costs of hook-ups and connection fees and security deposits in connection with providing utilities to premises during said lease term." 
Mr. [redacted] agreed at that time to the findings and promised to remove this mistaken claim as soon as he could.

I had a very positive experience with Beaufort Rentals, each person there is extremely processional. If there were any issues, they had people there to fix

The water pressure is so awful in the Oakview Commons unit (Taft Street) rented to us that the owner actually complained to the neighbor about it before moving out and renting it to us through Beaufort Rentals. There is an online news article from last year about it and even the plumber they sent out three times said this was a well-known issue. The lack of water pressure makes it nearly impossible to take a shower or do dishes: it's inexcusable to have to wait up to a day to do either. There's nothing like starting to shower, thinking the water pressure has finally recovered, only to have it drop again, and you have no way of rinsing off. Sometimes it's so bad the back of the toilet can't fill up with water, so the toilet is non-functional for hours. Yet, according to [redacted] the water pressure is sufficient and nobody else has ever complained.
