I talked to Marie yesterday 8-04-and apologized for the issue she had in our shop Steve K*** also called Marie and apologized She did bring her car back to this shop (Lafayette Rd) and had the brake work done 7-22- She said she was very happy with the service on 7-22-and

THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO OUR SHOP ON 6-19-WITH A BAD OIL LEAK THE ENGINE MOUNT BRACKET HAD BROKE CAUSING DAMAGE TO THE OIL SENDING SWITCH THIS WAS NOT A PROBLEM AT THE TIME THE OIL CHANGE WAS DONEWE WOULD HAVE NEVER BEEN ABLE TO DRIVE THE CAR OUT OF THE SHOP IF THIS SWITCH HAD BEEN BROKEN
*** CAME TO OUR SHOP AND THE MANAGER SHOWED HER WHAT CAUSED THE LEAK AND THE LIGHT TO COME ON AND SHE AGREED TO HAVE THE CAR REPAIRED AT THIS TIME FOR $SHE PICKED THE CAR UP ON 10-27-AND PAID THE BILL . *** *** I dropped off my vehicle at 11:am and went to lunchWhen I returned to Car-X it was 12:They then told me it was taken back inAt that time I stepped outside to make some phone callsI noticed fresh brake fluid then out front of the door where they drop your vehicle off for you to pick it up I never imagined it would be from my vehicleFurthermore, I never cursed anyone at car-x, but did ask them to take it down "after they ask m" what can we do to make it rightI replied fix itAnd how muchThey said they couldn't do thatIf the brake line was busted before hand, a Qualified technician would have known that one of the three times they entered my vehicle On the Friday I contacted car X and spoke to MrJohn N***, he told me they knew I didn't have any breaks and there was an issue I have a witness that can testify MrN*** telling me he called his technician out back and had a talk with him and wrote him up for not notifying them My attorney is prepared to send a letter as a witness After that phone call MrN*** called me back and stated after talking to his technician once again, there was no mistake made and they have done everything they could for meI contacted Car-X corporate and was told I would receive a conference call to discuss the matter and they would most likely take care of the billI offered for them to play half even, and they didn't even have the common courtesy to give their customer that phone callMrCalled me back and said they have done all they can for meIn closing, my mechanic never admitted any wrong doing on my endHe just fixed the issues so I could get on my way out of state as I planned I'm willing to send the statement from a witness if need be. Thank you for letting us know about this issue.  The original customer complaint was about the rear of the vehicle dragging.  The vehicle suspension was obviously weak from plain view.  I did tell the customer that we would do a complete check of his issue with did include checking...

the rest of his suspension.  We were not aware of a running problem and the customer did not elaborate on the extent of the problems he was having on the vehicle.  We found the engine running bad intermittent with a malfunction code of random multiple misfires from the engine.  This was not done until they picked it up and came back complaining about this issue.  I was dealing with a gentleman when the vehicle was dropped off and then a lady came in complaining about another problem.(miscommunication)  My technician did not notice any issue with the dash cluster when we worked on vehicle and the only thing we did with anything electrical was put in a fuse for their air ride compressor.(Missing before service)  We have contacted customer and requested that we do a follow-up with our trainer and certified master technician to find out what we can do about their electrical issue.  The customer has approved of this course of action and we will follow up with you if no compromise can be resolved. Thank you,Sean [redacted]ManagerCar X Auto Service8579 N Michigan Rd

JOE [redacted] , OUR AERA SUPERVISOR TALKED TO [redacted] ON 4-18-16 AND AGREED TO PAY FOR HALF THE RENTAL CAR  AND SHE AGREED TO THIS  . SHE WAS TO STOP AT THE SHOP AND GET THE REFUND . AS OF THIS DATE SHE HAS NOT CALLED OR WENT TO THE SHOP  FOR THE REFUND...

When Mr. [redacted] came to the shop he did ask to have the oil changed and lube the front end of his Tahoe. When the tech pulled the truck out I asked if we lubed the truck. He said no and I told them to pull it back around and get it done. There was another car in the lube shop and it did delay...

Mr. [redacted] but was most certainly not 1 1/2 hours. When the lube tech pulled the truck out front I apologized for the delay and cashed out Mr. [redacted]. As a smoker that is trying to kick the habit I keep my cigarettes in my truck and walked out to get a cigarette from my truck. When I turned to walk back in the shop I saw Mr. [redacted] slowing down and rolling down his passenger window. He said his break light and ABS light was on and his breaks were soft. I told him to pump his break pedal and looked under the truck. I saw fluid leaking from the drivers rear and told I would pull the truck in and check it out. I had a service tech rack the truck and talked to the lube tech that pulled the truck out. He did say the brakes seemed soft but the truck was stopping ok. I went to inspect the truck, before the truck was even lifted Mr. [redacted] asked how much it would cost to fix it. I said I did not know and the truck was being lifted when he started cursing and said he would have his mechanic fix it and he was going to be late for an appointment. I looked to see a rusted brake line leaking between the fuel tank and the frame. I offered to take Mr. [redacted] to his shop and fix it, he demanded we take the truck down so he could leave. I topped off the fluid and told him it was unsafe to drive. He chose to take the truck. At no point did I ever admit that we were aware of this issue or that we caused it. When Mr. [redacted] called after the repair he stated his machanic told him there was no way we caused this issue. After he left I reviewed the issue. There wasn't any break fluid in the oil shop where the truck was at, no fluid where it was pulled out either. The first point the truck started to leak was at the point the tech parked and came in the shop. The trail leads to where he stopped to speak to me and then to where I pulled it in. At no point did ever admit we were at fault or that we knew of the problem. As soon as we knew of the issue we tried to help Mr. [redacted] but he chose to leave and not allow us to repair the truck.
